It is possible. He'd probably have to sell it along the lines of 'An Otherworlder's view of Sinnoh' as Sinnoh itself isn't all that exciting or new to the people of Goldenrod (just cause the characters can't travel doesn't mean the natives can't either) but they'd probably be able to find a little open spot in their programming for that.
