You have time to sign-up OOCly until June 15th! ICly, characters can do it until the 20th aka the day before the festival. Items can be sent through bird-mail or be handed in on the day of the event itself. If you're volunteering for dates, please remember to have PMs open in your journal to be contacted later if you're chosen!

Jaskier will meet with your character for a short interview! It can be done through the gear if there's no other choice, but he'll push for a meeting in person if possible. He has access to most warps in Johto so going to you won't be an issue! He'll sit down across from your character and watch them closely -the tip of his tongue peeking out- as he asks questions and takes notes on a notebook with a quill made from a Pokémon feather. On the table between them there will be a fishbowl with Lampro the Luvdisc in it, who will also watch your character closely and let out some bubbles for each answer given. Is he looking directly into your soul? Maybe.

This interview will be handwaved so please fill this form! Notice that there is an IC and OOC section - please answer the questions in the IC action, well, ICly. As your character would. Yes, this means they can lie if they're the type to do so. And yes, they can volunteer for dates and donate an item/egg as well! If you're offering more than one more character for the event, please make separate comments for each of them.

What has inspired you to volunteer for this event?:
Any preferences for this humble host to keep in mind?: Here, Jaskier will explain that doesn't have to be a literal date, it can be friends hanging out for the sake of charity. So your character isn't obliged to match their personal taste to the person bidding, they can do indeed answer "whatever is fine". However, Jaskier does want to try to match people with potential romantic dates and, most importantly, he wants everyone to be comfortable and have fun. So here your character can, if they wish, express preferences towards certain genders, or say they don't want to hang out with certain ages, or anything you can think of.
Free space: This is totally optional! Use this space if you want to add a couple of sentences about how your character is behaving during the interview. Are they nervous? Enthusiastic? Flirty? Did they dress up for this? Do they want Jaskier to shut up already? It's ok if they do, they wouldn't be the first.

What has inspired you to volunteer for this event?: He thought it sounded like a fun time and a way to meet people that he ordinarily might not have.

Any preferences for this humble host to keep in mind?: Oh! Well uh... someone close to my age, obviously... and I’m interested in both boys and g-girls, so... b-but it’s fine if it’s just like, hanging out for charity! Just... again, another teenager please.
Free space: Considering that this is a date auction she’s signing up for... well, she has a simple pink dress that she used for Carly’s wedding that she uses, but otherwise she’s a little flustered during it... but still doing her best to keep a confident look on her face, even if she stumbles over her own words at certain questions.

And what is your age? Oh, older than I look and far younger than I feel. (If inevitably pressed, he'll laugh this off as a joke and admit to being 33. Whether Jaskier believes that or not given that Ardyn looks Anime Middle-Aged(tm) is up to him, but it's technically true.)
Are you currently in a relationship?: I'm afraid, to my infinite regret, that I am not. Such opportunities passed me by long ago.
Tell me three things about yourself: I have an abundance of knowledge on all manner of topics from history to chocobo ranching, I'm an unmatched expert at chess, and I'm exceptionally skilled with my hands.
What has inspired you to volunteer for this event?: I'm sure you must know how it is--uprooted from all things familiar and strikingly out of my depth in a realm unknown. I thought it perhaps worth my abundance of time to meet a few people here or there. Worth a shot, as the saying goes.
Any preferences for this humble host to keep in mind?: Why, I'm hardly going to volunteer and then make a list of demands. But in the interest of providing an answer...while I haven't much preference in the realm of gender or even humanity--such as that even matters here--I might be more interested in someone with...shall we say, an abundance of worldly experience. I haven't a great amount of patience for the blind optimism of youth, I fear. Hm, did that sound pessimistic? Do forgive me, it's perhaps a difficult thing to put into words.

Free space: Ardyn dresses relatively normally by his own standards lately--sort of pretentiously disheveled. His way of speaking is always cheerfully light with a distinct air of condescension, but everything he says is generally true and with no obvious ulterior motive. Polite as he is, he spends most of the meeting slouching slightly in his chair, or making sweeping gestures with one or both hands as he talks. The whole time, his Zorua is keeping a wary eye on both Jaskier and his Luvdisc.

Tell me three things about yourself: Okay, but fair warning, I don't remember anything from before a few months ago, so - oh! That's a thing! Thing 1: I have almost total amnesia! [She seems pretty cheerful about it.] Thing 2, I do remember my father, and he was the world's greatest master tactician, but I'm going to surpass him someday. Just gotta practice all my best pranks - oh, did I say pranks? I meant...strategies! Strategies. Definitely not pranks. And thing 3 is...um...oh! Thing 3 is that I'm the best tome stacker around, and my friend Leo taught me how to build an impenetrable pillow fortress, too. So if you want anything stacked up - books, pillows, people - just ask!
What has inspired you to volunteer for this event?: Well, I met someone during the masquerade who told me about some of Team Rocket's other evildoing. And it sounded familiar somehow. I can't put my finger on why, but I think it must mean that I did something like this before I lost my memories, too! Which makes sense, because what else could the kindest, smartest, most compassionate woman you'll ever meet do but be a hero and help people? Plus, I want to know what going on a date is like. I don't even know whether I've ever been on one or not! So I'm killing two birds with one auction. Ha! Clever plan, don't you think?
Any preferences for this humble host to keep in mind?: I have no idea! If I had any preferences before, I don't know what they are now. I guess it would be weird for me to date an elderly person, right? So none of those.
Free space: Morgan is cheerful, enthusiastic, and not nervous in the least. She drops at least one or two jokes or puns and thinks she is absolutely hilarious. She definitely has no problem with Jaskier being talkative, she's chatty herself, and sometimes hares off on tangents when some unrelated idea crosses her mind.

What has inspired you to volunteer for this event?: I didn't. Someone named Blue decided to volunteer me. But, let's make this clear, I'm only doing this to help people.

This isn't a real ... date? Okay. Fine. That's totally fine. I'm an adult, though, so, probably should stick to people my own age. I don't want anyone feeling uncomfortable.

He's incredibly resigned. He doesn't really want to be here, but he's only doing this because he was told it'd help raise money. What has inspired you to volunteer for this event?: I'm a hero so of course I'm gonna support charity work.
Any preferences for this humble host to keep in mind?: Nobody too young, there's some high school kids I know here and it'd be pretty awkward for me. Not that I necessarily think they'd bid on me, but...well, you never know. But I'd feel weird even if they were high school kids I didn't know. I prefer men to women but I won't turn anyone down, especially for charity.
Free space: Hawks will be very casual and relaxed, and will likely dress much the same! But it's a tasteful casual. He won't wear his hero outfit for this, he wants to show off his own sense of style as a part-time model with his own merch. (Not that he has the merch here, but you know what I mean.)

What has inspired you to volunteer for this event?: Team Rocket stole her eggs at prom! And she's pretty sure they were also behind that big stupid jerk that dressed up like death to steal more eggs too.
Any preferences for this humble host to keep in mind?: Claudia's going to get kind of red-faced and say that even if her date is really cute, she's not really the type to tongue-kiss on a first date.
Free space: Like always, Claudia's doing her best to seem Older and Sophisticated, but she really is a bit of an innocent underneath it all. I think Jaskier's known her long enough to figure that out.

One (1) JRPG Style Wooden Sword - in the style of this, to be exact. It's about as sturdy as a well made mallet or hurling stick, but mostly made for show or play. Not advisable as a murder weapon.

Tell me three things about yourself: Jean probably falters a bit at this question, as he still struggles with his identity as a not-soldier person here in the Pokemon world. Eventually, he'll say that he has all of his Kanto badges and is now working on getting his Johto ones, that he's into extreme flying, and would be happy to sketch his date if they're okay with getting drawn by a hobbyist.

What has inspired you to volunteer for this event?: Well, because it'd be a crime for him not to. Imagine how much money all this: [Here, he gestures at his entire body] could raise? A ridiculous amount. Be happy he has such a generous spirit.

Any preferences for this humble host to keep in mind?: Anything goes. He might mention some slight preference for females, but he doesn't rule out guys either. Whoever they are, they're going to get what the pay for. That's in the spirit of the day, right?

P.S. Shinobu, Thace, and Scorpia have been helping her with some breeding projects, so it's quite possible that they might also end up donating some shinies she bred to the auction, even though they're two trainers and a Rocket respectively. I'm pretty sure that Shinobu will be, actually.
