If Doppio tried to tell the Legendary Seekers he straight up talked to Arceus, would they be impressed? Would they get worse? Would they, perhaps... point him to secret, privileged info they have been hiding behind a façade of bewildering incompetence?!

(Okay, the latter is easily the least probable thing in the world, but maybe Diavolo has high hopes, and very marked opinions about who might be worthy to wield ultimate power over the fabric of the very universe. A guy can dream, right?)
