Aurora League Mini-Event!

The Aurora League presents...
A Night at the Gym

What: A special open house event at both of the Aurora League gyms! Featuring food, prizes, activities, and more.

Where: The Collegiate Gym southwest of Ecruteak City on Route 37, and the Lunar Gym east of Celadon City on Route 7.

When: The festivities begin Saturday at noon, and will conclude Sunday at dawn. The event log itself will go up Saturday morning!

Who: Everyone is invited! The Aurora League gym leaders will be at their respective gyms, of course, and there may be special guest appearances by some of the local Indigo League members as well.

So what is this all about?

Exactly what it says on the tin! Essentially it's a massive open house/all-night party being hosted at both the Aurora League gyms at the same time.

How will my character get there?

Like with other League-sponsored events, transportation will be provided both to and from the event locations for any who need it.

What sort of things will there be to do?

Aside from mingling and enjoying the festive decor, there will be various small activities for characters to participate in, a banquet, door prizes to potentially win, and even fireworks! Not to mention, the gym facilities themselves will be open to use. Go ahead, challenge someone to a battle, you're at a gym after all!

Some of the specific details will naturally vary depending on which gym you go to, but the overall festivities will be essentially the same at both.

Door prizes?

Door prizes! Characters can enter to win a drawing at either of the gyms to win one of several ~mystery~ prizes, including items graciously provided by the Indigo League! Each gym will have its own drawing of three sets of prizes, however there's a limit of one entry per character, so you can only sign up for one gym's pool. As for what the prizes are, you'll find out after the draw on Wednesday!

Are sleeping accommodations provided?

Given that this is an overnight event, there aren't specific sleeping accommodations per se, however, both gyms will have some space set aside to use should someone need to nap or just get some quiet time.

Can I bring my Pokémon?

Of course! Given that these are gyms made to accommodate things, there's no size limits, either... Though if you show up and start blocking the halls with six Steelix you might be politely asked to put some in their balls for the sake of the other guests.

What about Team Rocket? They like to target League events, do I need to worry about them?

The Aurora League gym leaders will, of course, be taking every precaution to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests. It's still possible that a few ne'er-do-wells may slip in amongst the crowds, however, so it's recommended please take care and keep an eye on your Pokémon and belongings just to be safe!

I still have more questions!

We (probably) have answers! Feel free to submit your questions to the appropriate comment below, though please note that some questions (such as those related to NPCs, and so on) may be referred to the mods for an answer.
