C: There always is! Responding to the unlockable challenges is not required. Your character can also help those fleeing the scene, help the Ultra Beasts find more windows to smash, play support to an Ultra Beast during their battle against an Aether agent, scold defeated Aether agents for their Foundation's poopy behavior, etc. One player is even having their low-level character set up booby traps inside the Foundation building. There's always room for creativity!
