Hello everyone! This is Bear. I played back at Route 29 in the LJ days, if anyone might remember me! I've finally followed the siren call of Pokemon back, and I'm dragging Thace here with me. He's a former deep cover agent of a rebellion fighting a tyrannical empire. Because of his life experiences he's Unsure about this Pokemon thing, has enough (un)healthy paranoia going on to look for Terrible Truths hidden behind the innocent veneer and secretly thinks the Pokemon are kind of awesome.

And he's the self-sacrificial type who would try to go undercover in an evil and/or mysterious organization to expose The Truth if he thought it necessary.

At the moment, however, he'll be wandering around New Bark with a very affectionate ghost-sword and trying to figure out what's going on.

I'm still reeling from shock that someone actually plays Thace, haha. Welcome! Keith here is from the end of s8 and will be pleased to see an old friend again. He'll do what he can to make sure Thace settles into his pokemon journey comfortably.

Thace will be so glad to get to know Keith properly without a time limit. He'll really like Johto once he figures out that what you see is actually what it is. Might take a little bit to sink in though, haha

Also I meant to ask since S8 tends to be pretty polarizing, did you have a preference in Thace finding out some of the details of what happens later on in the show or would you rather Keith kept it hush hush? I'm cool with rolling with either, so lmk!

Finding out that the universe is a better place (even after the terrible writing, but that's getting meta) will probably help Thace. But he'll probably have to mourn all the Blades and damage that was done.
