Your secret is safe with Indeedee
Ah, Valentine's day. A day of candy hearts and chocolate. Everything that isn't pink is a bright shade of red, and couples can be spotted everywhere, holding hands, snuggling together, exchanging kisses. And it is not just couples that dominate the street view; there are also dozens of unfamiliar round-faced pokemon running about.
Yes, all throughout today, female Indeedee (and only female Indeedee) will be swarming across both Johto and Kanto. However, it seems these Indeedee haven't just come here for the view. They are on a mission; a mission of love.
All throughout today, characters might be approached by these Indeedee, given an adorable courtesy before being handed a card. Each card is completely identical, down to the slightly sweet smell of the cardboard. The only difference on each card are the words, printed in lovely calligraphy letters drawn by a very expert hand.
Wait, hold on, whose thoughts are these? And did they really want this out there?

As some of you may have figured out by now, this little Valentine's day Indeedee swarm will be doubling as an IC secrets meme. The Indeedee, having noticed just how many little secrets float around in everybody's heads, have decided that a bit of honesty is what this world needs. Using their psychic powers, they've been collecting the things that have gone unsaid, and they are taking it upon themselves to deliver those words to the person in question. Perhaps when we are all honest with each other and our own feelings, the world will be a brighter place.
How will this work?
First of all, like all events, this one is entirely opt-in. If this isn't your style, feel free to just play around with the swarming Indeedee themselves, or all the other fun Valentine's day offers us.
If you'd like to participate, please post a comment on this post from your character (one character per comment).
If you'd like for your character's secret thoughts to be conveyed to another character via the Indeedee, please go here, and leave a comment stating what the card would say, making sure to note (either in the comment or in the title) who the secret is for. We'll take care of getting your character's secret thoughts to their recipients. Just like the cards received by the characters, we won't be attaching any names to the secrets, so try and see how well your character really knows their friends.
As for the secrets being spread by the Indeedee, you can make those as big or as small as you wish. If your character is keeping a big secret from another character, don't feel like you must post that one if you'd like to participate -- the Indeedee could just have easily picked up on the secret that your character has been using another character's shampoo all this time.
Do we have to keep what we post a secret?
By no means. We will be posting everything without names attached, but if you'd like to either OOCly or ICly reveal what your character's secret thoughts were, feel free. We wanted to offer the extra option of added, continued secrecy, and give players the same experience their characters would have ICly, but beyond that, feel free to handle things as you wish.
Can we catch the Indeedee?
You can definitely catch them! They are all at lvl 14, regardless of where they are caught.
So not a single male Indeedee?
Not a one! In fact, are you sure they are not a female-only species? There sure are only females out there.
What if my character has, say, a steel plate in his head? Hypothetically?
Ford, go back to your memes.
But, to be serious, if your character somehow has something that would otherwise ward them from Psychic pokemon reading their mind (say a steel plate, or other psychic pokemon protecting their mind) it is your decision whether or not the Indeedee are able to avoid those barriers or if they will be stopped by it. This is entirely up to you.
Oh, and let's keep the PG-13 rating of the game in mind while posting the secrets, okay? A secret about finding another character hot is all right, but lets not go into too much detail.
