Hello! My name is Shai and I am new here! I bring you one Leonardo da Vinci from this game called Assassin's Creed. Yes, that Leonardo da Vinci. Painter of the Mona Lisa (though he won't paint that for another decade or two), obsessed with flying machines (he built one that almost worked, this time!),  perpetually taking too long on his commissions (if he finishes them at all), you know, Leonardo da Vinci. Seeing as he's a famous historical figure, I'd say that if your character comes from Modern Earth, they're free to recognize him! Or not! They're perfectly welcome to assume he's just one of those anime characters named after someone famous. I only ask that you don't canon puncture him, ie, tell him that he's from a video game or bring up plot points from said video game!
