They want him to come in for an interview to discuss his detective experience and share his theories! And he'll be paid for his time. Looking into the source of contact reveals that the newspaper is run by a weird fringe group of conspiracy theorists who have way too much money to pour into their hobbies.
If Riz accepts the offer and goes in for the interview, the interviewer will be impressed by his investigative prowess. He'll direct him towards a few other individuals who could use the services of a private detective that the Jennies haven't been able to help with--a case of a kidnapped Pokémon, a missing persons incident, and so on and so forth. They're even offering to report on what Riz does to solve each case. Who knows? Maybe from this, Mr. Gukgak could build up a reputation of being the private eye to call upon!
