ACTIVITY CHECK POST

Here is where players shall submit monthly activity check!
As of January 2025, we are trying something new with our Activity Check format! Let us know HERE if you have any questions or concerns!

In order to check in each month, comment under the appropriate month's top level with your character journals, and give us 2-3 sentences describing what your character did this month! No threads or comment-counting required, and your sentences are not required to describe things that happened "on-screen"/in threads - they just need to show how your character is engaging with the setting. (Yes, that means you can just make stuff up!)

Exemptions:

You do not need to respond to activity check if:

☐ You are currently on hiatus

You may provide the respective substitutes in the "This month:" section of activity check, rather than writing 2-3 sentences, if:

☐ You returned from hiatus after the 23rd of the month (Substitute: link your hiatus comment)
☐ You were accepted to the game after the 15th of the month (Substitute: link your application acceptance)

The activity check ends on the 8th of the new month, 11:59 pm EST. Any character that does not respond will be swept from the game on the 9th. Please contact us if you were swept but have extenuating circumstances, or if you believe we made a mistake!

This month: Recovering from Jurassic Oops has took a bit out of Scar, after his (reckless?) experimentation with ancient berries. He was also the defacto First Aid Guy with his housemate Heather's injured wrist. Ironic, since he was accused of breaking one back in the day...

This month: Mostly being Heather's errand boy while her wrist has been broken. Also trying to teach his new Archen how to exist in Modern Times and not start screeching at maximum volume every time the TV is on.

This month: Finishing up her club renovations and researching maritime aesthetics. Yes, those things are related.

This month: Working her butt off now that it's summer! She's been patrolling the beaches and doing lifeguard shifts with her Floatzel.

This month: Ed should have challenged Faulkner and gotten the Zephyr badge by now. (Especially since he has a Mareep.) He's going to be on his way to Azalea. We'll see how he fares through the cave and whether or not he checks out the slowpoke at the well.

This month: This month was a quiet month for Duo. He's debating doing the badge challenge as a cover for his Rocket activities, and as a way to help train some his team. Little does he yet realize that he should probably train some of them before he starts the challenge.

Character series: Voltron: Legendary Defender
This month: Keith has been kind of avoiding social stuff lately. He's focusing on rebuilding a gym circuit team so he can finish, since he didn't get the chance to before Allura left. Having a lot of his friends disappear has been hard on him, so he's been kind of hermitting.

Character: Luna Lovegood + looneylovegood
Character series: Harry Potter
This month: Luna has been doing a lot of research towards her book idea. Her inspiration is Newt Scamander, and he wrote one of the best textbooks she ever had in school. So, she's following in his footsteps for Pokémon. Yes, there's the PokéDex, but she feels like a book might be more accessible for certain types of people who aren't comfortable with fancy technology.

This month: She's been looking at locations for where she might want to start her business, and she thinks she might have found a good spot. She's considering the north side of Route 7, across from the blocked off underground path. She likes the idea of being close by two cities for supplies and being easy to reach by potential customers.

This month: Primarily just mulling around in the background trying to understand this whole Pokemon thing still while being obnoxious to her husband. Getting to know her Pokemon and probably getting to make friends with Joseph's to where they like her more than him. Just Spousal Things (tm).

This month: Ulaz has been working on training his Pokemon. He has also been remodeling his house and researching breeding partners for his Pokemon.

This month: Quatre spent some time with people who were visiting Goldenrod City. He was also working on getting his hotel open and training his flock of Starly.

This month: Duo has decided that he's going to support his friend on his new Starly hotel business. Hey, who doesn't love a Starly in a bowtie? Besides, it'll be a good legitimate cover job instead of relying on Rocket money all the time.

This month: Now that Keith has decided to resume his journey on the gym circuit, he's been taking the long way to his next destination in order to get back into the swing of training. He's also changing up his regular team to integrate some of Allura's Pokémon that stayed with him as a way to keep a part of her with him on the trip.

Character series: Harry Potter
This month: Luna's book is progressing. She's been kind of hunkered down and focusing on that a lot. Though, the writing part is harder. She's been having more fun doing the observing part!

Character: Romelle + questioneverything
Character series: Voltron: Legendary Defender
This month: Romelle has been trying to figure out how to acquire land and build something in her chosen location for her berry farm and farmstand. She's just too nervous to directly ask anyone just, yet. So, instead, she's been scoping the area out, watching the amount of traffic that comes by, planting different berries and flowers and other things off the side of the main travel path to see what takes to the area's soil the best. Making sure she's picked the right spot, essentially. All this while building up the nerve to actually reach out to who she needs to.

This month: Harry and Jotaro are slowly taking their time to head into Mahogany Town and face Pryce in battle. Trying to keep a little more low key for himself and not getting into more shenanigans for the time being. Also he has entered full Pokémon dad mode as he raises his prehistoric influenced Yamper.

This month: Isabela continues her travels as per usual. Taking care of her Pokémon and thinking of stable job incomes is also on her to do list for the month. She even visited the SMEAR event at Ecruteak City.

This month: Cali reached Ecruteak City with Loop :D Despite the rocky start, Cali and Loop are making puns as well as enjoying the SMEAR Exhibition :'3 Currently, Cali is waffling on which Pokemon gets the seals on their PokeBall.

This month: Catrina managed to get temporarily lost on Route 29. Good news though, Cat did catch a Shinx out there and has that one on her team. Once Reaching Cherrygrove City, Catrina took an UBird to Ecruteak City to check out the SMEAR Exhibition.

This month: Radley mostly spent a peaceful month relaxing. He attended the SMEAR event and enjoyed it a lot.

This month: Loop and Cali reached Ecruteak, and then got trapped for a while thanks to heavy thunderstorms (no more traveling during flooding, once was enough). Which was for the best since it meant they were around to check out SMEAR! Loop's Noibat may or may not be picking up a passion for art... At some point Loop and Cali probably also went to check out the theaters, and Loop is considering taking on the gym before they move on.

This month: After the grand culmination of Clairquest, Doppio had some catching up to do on the Legendary Seekers front. This kept him mostly in Ecruteak City, which is convenient, because that's where SMEAR happened! As the month wrapped up, Doppio and the Boss tried to sort out which of the Legendary Seekers' reports were worth investigating and which ones were just complete bunk, in hopes of planning their next move.

This month: Henry, for better or worse, introduced Wrath to the concept of Online. Other than that, he's been working the Pokemon Center circuit and helping his new friend Cali learn her way around the facilities.

This month: Beetlejuice terrorized an Ecruteak burlesque establishment by bringing his typewriter with him to work on his novel during the show.

This month: JW is chillin. He struck up a trade to hand off his Starly he got in THE PAST who doesn't like him and got a new Nymble!

This month: What was your character up to? For the most part, Fluttershy has just been working at the daycare as usual. She did take some time to check out the Smeargle exhibit, though.

This month: Keldor's June has been mostly a quiet one as summer rolls in, spending time with his group; something he's grateful to have. However, he's been thinking more and more about resuming his trainer's journey, and he feels like he's in a place where he can get back to that without feeling like he'd lose the progress he's made these last few months.

This month: Cecil had grand plans for June: TM shopping for his beautiful Lurantis, enjoying the Smeagle Society's art installations... And then half his team promptly caught the flu out of season. Great. Maybe he'll get to go at the beginning of July!

Emporio went to the SMEAR event, and enjoyed some fun escape rooms! He also got to deal with the alarming realization that some people really just can't comprehend that he may have grown up. He's. He's been this tall for a while Doppio...it's okay...

This month: Joseph is finally starting to take Pokemon training seriously! (He's only been here since April, it's FINE.) He caught a Pidove who he's been talking about non-stop, he evolved some of his Pokemon, and he finally convinced his Charmeleon to listen to him during battle and also stop biting him. And now he's rapidly approaching Falkner's location for his first badge.

This month: Rui arrived at Ecruteak, and was immediately greeted by painted tunnels. He then spent some time at SMEAR and has since been trying to figure out how to implement the ideas he got from the exhibition.

This month: She arrived at Cherrygrove. Immediately got a ride to Ecruteak, and spent most of her month at SMEAR. She is now back in Cherrygrove.

This month: III mostly spent time exploring Kanto. That said, he still couldn't resist going to the Smeargle art installation!

This month: Scar learned about experiential art the hard way. In other words, he REALLY thought he was going to be able to go into Smeargletown and come out with a new coffee table. He also finally caved and started going to a real gym (for people) when a Slaking broke the poor excuse for a bench he kept in the back yard.
