Who wants a puppy for Christmas?!?!

Diana's doggos have been busy again but luckily this time it coincides with a gift giving month! What better way to show someone you love them than by getting them an adorable pup!

All puppies are at a Christmas discount of 500P. Which is a steal if you check out the moves Lillipup is inheriting.

This is quite literally my first game and you are actually the first person I'm getting a Pokemon from so I'm not sure how it works ...

What level is he? I think the original post lists his moves, so I don't have to ask that.

How/when do we trade the Pokemon dollars for the pupper?

Level wise, when Diana made the post about the puppies they were all level 1 so that's the level Prompto's dog will arrive with.

If you're keeping track of your character's money then just take 500P off them. If not then don't worry about it. And I'll just add 500P to Diana's record keeping.

If Prompto responds to Diana's IC post about the puppies they can talk about money being transferred over with the Pokegears but that's usually as in depth as it goes.

Of course, since you responded to this post, you can always handwave the interaction and just say that Prompto got in touch with Diana about buying a puppy and now he has one.

Does Fig have an ability?

Not at all!

Fig's parents have different abilities so he can have either the Keen Eye & Vital Spirit ability. So it's totally up to you which you'd prefer!

I keep thinking of more questions, of course. I'm so sorry. Does Fig have any markings? Or is he a perfectly lovely standard Rockruff?

I don't tend to come up with markings unless I'm keeping them myself. I usually imagine the puppies are distinct enough for Diana to tell the difference but probably not far off standard breed. However, that's just for my own record keeping for unsold puppies. So I'd encourage you to think of some for your own Rockruff!

Here are some examples;
Lana (mother): The coloured portion of her fur is a more sandy colour, a good two shades darker than is typical.
Ingo (father): Has a longer tail with streaks of red fur in it. (Streaks were tan before evolution.)
Riley (older sister): Has dark brown freckles on her cheeks.
Rabbit (older brother): Very dark socks.

These are markings some people have come up with after Diana gave them Rockruff;
Sniffer (older sister): Ears are larger than normal, half covering her eyes.
Roxy (older sister): Has spotty paws; ears have faint spots all over them.
Rover (older brother): Has one flopped ear and one perked ear.
Casey (older sister): Right back paw has tan toes.

Fig's new name is Umbra and he will have all black ears and one tan paw.(his front right paw).

I figured I'll handwave the specifics of the exchange, since I'm pretty sure our characters aren't close enough to really say 'yea, we totes met up and exchanged 500P for this super cute puppy.'
