With Christmas scooting ever closer, it's time to start thinking about the real reason for the season and that is gifts. Yes, yes, joy to all, peace on earth etc etc, but deep down what we all want to do is tear some wrapping paper off boxes and be dazzled by the contents.

In order to keep things a bit organised, we'll be putting this up as a central gift-giving post, and it will feature three things.

★★ Arceus' gift

As many of you long term players might already know, Arceus tends to drop a few gifts on the people he has brought here on Christmas day. And this year is no different! These gifts will be revealed on December the 25th, so please check back then to see what your character will be receiving. And yes, these gifts will go out to all. Arceus doesn't judge. Maybe he should, but he doesn't.

★★ Secret Santa

Though these gifts won't officially be delivered until the 25th, this post will also feature a thread where you can post up the gifts your character has gotten their Secret Santa recipient. Feel free to start posting these up as soon as this post goes up (we are not going to make you wait)

★★ Your gifts

And finally, your gifts! If your character is the kind to get their friends a bunch of things, feel free to use this post to distribute the offerings. Much easier than hitting up a bunch of inboxes! If you would rather distribute your characters' gifts individually in various inboxes, feel free to do so! This post is merely an option for people who'd like to keep things in one central location.

Now with that all out of the way, let us take a moment to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and for those that don't celebrate, just kind of a Cool Weekend.

As mods, we'd like to thank you all for all your effort and joy, for every badge you've submitted, every prom that was ruined, and just all the various crimes committed by our dedicated (and some not so) rockets. A new year approaches, and with it, new opportunities, new plots and CR, but hopefully still and forever, the same amount of fun!

For Ashe:
- A subscription to a podcast (pokecast?) that shares all kinds of true stories about heroic Pokemon and their heroic deeds

For Byleth:
- A basket full of specialty Pokeballs, including Friend Balls, Heal Balls, and Lure Balls
- A Pay Day TM

For Chip:
- A baseball glove, bat, and ball, and an invitation to play with him sometime

For Dedue:
- A level 26 Bulbasaur, caught near Saffron City

For Geralt:
- A basket full of Dusk Balls, Colbur Berries, and a few Spell Tags, all for his Ghost Pokemon in preparation for the E4

For Grant:
- The following TMs: Calm Mind, Rest, Safeguard, Sleep Talk, Snore, and Substitute; he'll explain that they're intended for Baby, since she provides a lot of the eggs he's breeding for his therapy Pokemon project, although of course Grant can give them to whoever he wants

For Hermione:
- A Honedge egg, bred from Zoltan (Felix's Aegislash) and Moralta (his Ferrothorn), with the following moves: Fury Cutter, Tackle, Iron Defense, Iron Head, Attract, Flash Cannon, Gyro Ball
- An invitation to teach her how to start building a rapport with her Honedge such that it will let her wield it by hand, so she can train with a real sword

For Jane:
- A large, mostly empty photo album whose cover is the same light blue color as her text; only the first couple of pages have photos in them, and they're all of Jane with the various members of their travel group from events like Felix and Sylvain's wedding, Claude's birthday party at Jane's gym, etc.
- A little machine shaped like an Audino's head that prints out digital photos
- A note that reads:

Jinx once introduced me to photography as a means of helping me to focus on the present when I was distracted by too many unpleasant feelings. I thought perhaps you might appreciate the idea as well.

- A basket just like Geralt's, except it contains a few Pixie Plates and Protective Pads, and a bunch of Kebia Berries, all for his Fairy Pokemon in preparation for the E4.

For Jinx:
- A quill made from a black (non-shiny) Murkrow feather and a pot of purple ink (bought from Team Witcher!)
- A shiny Murkrow egg (bought from Kiri!...so, also Team Witcher lol). Moves: Peck | Astonish | Tailwind + Fly | Aerial Ace | Steel Wing | Roost // Brave Bird

For Korra:
