Here is where players shall submit monthly activity check!
As of January 2025, we are trying something new with our Activity Check format! Let us know HERE if you have any questions or concerns!
In order to check in each month, comment under the appropriate month's top level with your character journals, and give us 2-3 sentences describing what your character did this month! No threads or comment-counting required, and your sentences are not required to describe things that happened "on-screen"/in threads - they just need to show how your character is engaging with the setting. (Yes, that means you can just make stuff up!)

Character series: OC :3
This month: Cali’s arrival was a hyperactive one as she sped past Mom (Cali still doesn’t know she now has the legendary third Mom just yet :o ) and went onto Route 29 with her very much reluctant starter, Sweet Sixteen. She ended up getting stuck in the infamous Plague Doctor Eating Tree of Route 29 before getting rescued by Jotaro. After that, Cali went on to meet Edward and they both went to Cherrygrove city together to patch Edward’s battle wounds from Hoothoot. From there, Cali would find the flyers for the Swinub Scurry and had volunteered at the first aid stand. In the end, Cali was given a Swinub egg that she’s been spoiling before it even hatches :’3

This month: Radley has been trying to recover from all the havoc of January. He decided to check out the Swinub Scurry event and hung out there trying foods and looking at merchant booths.

Character series: Harry Potter
This month: Harry was busy training for his gym battle challenge in Mahogany Town at Ecruteak City when he finds himself gaining a fan club composed of Ghost Type Pokémon in the area. He also joins in the Swinub Scurry race where he lands in 12th place with his Hisuian Arcanine Godric and gets a speedy Swinub egg and a medal for participating.

This month: Isabela has spent a good chuck of the month recovering from her icy slips from the Snorunt Crisis and her Pokémon being too eager to make new friends due to her good efforts in saving the Snorunts. She does visit the Swinub Scurry as a visitor and enjoys checking out the stalls and their wares and trying out the food.

This month: Loop was planning to just make it through Mt. Mortar in as boring a way as possible, then stick around Mahogany Town for a couple weeks. What they actually got was a very exciting and stressful Mt. Mortar trip when they suddenly developed the ability to use Sonic Boom. You know, while in a cave. Then on top of that, as soon as they emerged, Meeple found out about the Swinub Scurry and insisted on participating...

This month: Envy spent the early parts of the month dealing with the sudden emergence of a second, much louder Edward Elric. Then it was off to the Swinub Scurry with the rest of the Sharkhousehold to watch Heather and Scar race, and also pull small-time scams when he got tired of just watching the race.

Character series: Masters of the Universe
This month: Keldor has been spending much of his time with his support group. Last month, among other things, they helped out at a Wooloo farm, taking care of the animals. He is also spending time with his team, made up of the first six pokemon he caught/started with since his arrival here, as per the recommendation of his counsellor [to remind him of some of his oldest, most positive memories of this world].

This month: He's been in HELL, thank you very much, SNORUNTS. At least the Swinub Scurry ended... better than expected? Sure, he's among the worst-performing otherworlders, and he didn't even catch a glimpse of that rumoured mystery Pokémon that was supposed to be somewhere in the trail... but he got to see Clair's true colours! And vindication feels good.

Character series: Infinity Train
This month: This month Min-Gi was plagued by tech issues (thanks, Snorunts) and acted as a volunteer for the Swinub Scurry. As an experienced trainer he opted for the rescue side of things. He was able to help out on a few different rescue missions over the weekend, including a young Electrike racer with an admiration for Saeki, Wataro and his team of Torkoal, and Doppio with some unsolicited advice.

This month: Ulaz attempted to spend some time working with Bet so that they could fly to further out locations. However, this was constantly foiled by bird Pokemon attacking Bet. As such Ulaz got a lot of practice at swimming in open water since that was the easiest way for him to dismount in order to recall Bet without either of them getting hurt further. In better news, he was now has a Skarmory...

This month: Quatre has been working on saving up money. He would like to have money so that he can find a decent place to live where he can have his growing Pokemon family out more often. Contrary to saving money, he purchased several eggs to increase the number of Pokemon that he has...

Character series: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean
This month: Emporio was off to the races this month! Well, the end of the month anyway. After quickly realizing that for some reason, nothing was going to get done at his Gym (thanks snorunts) he opted to delay opening.
And from there instead gathered some supplies to test, and headed off to Blackthorn for the races, where he made 7th on basic supplies and a scattered team! He thought that alone would do pretty good at advertising, plus his booth, but uh.
Well, Dr. Kujo's Cetitan coming in second sure. Sure handled that.

Character series: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean
This month: Jotaro would have had a much better time doing research this month if it wasn't for the Wattrel haunting him and stealing his research notes. Honestly, if it wasn't for the high of research, his midlife crisis arc would have started.
After that, he went to Blackthorn for the races to help Emporio advertise the gym and got second place with his team! He's pretty pleased about helping with that. :D

Character series: Final Fantasy IV: The After Years (Dissidia series)
This month: February has been a month filled with surprises for Cecil! Mostly due to the Gym's unexpected popularity. He's even been staying outside his usual work hours to deal with the flow of tourists. All work and no play makes him a dull man, though, so he was planning on going to Blackthorn to enjoy the Swinub Scurry!
And then his team finally dumped their ever-impressive egg clutch on him.
Maybe he'll get to take a break in March instead?

Character series: My Little Pony: Equestria Girls
This month: Thanks to the Snorunts, Fluttershy spent most of the month dealing with a bit of chaos at the Daycare with Pokemon eggs somehow getting misplaced and swapped around, running around and trying to right which eggs go with which Pokemon. Towards the end of the month, though, when things finally started settled down, she volunteered at the Swinub Scurry, mostly at the medical station to help Pokemon and their trainers that needed some extra assistance.

Character series: New Mobile Report Gundam Wing
This month: Duo's been trying to play it cool to avoid getting noticed and called out too much by Rocket Admins who might be demanding his quota of Pokémon submissions. The virus definitely caught his attention, and he has thoughts about it. Very torn and troubled thoughts based on a few bits of knowledge. To get his mind off it, he participated in the Swinub Scurry, but was woefully unprepared. He's much more of an urban survivalist, definitely not wilderness.

Character series: Voltron: Legendary Defender
This month: Keith and his near alpha sized Wyrdeer made an attempt at the Swinub Scurry. Desert in the winter is much different than mountain in the winter, and, as much as he kept pushing through in an attempt to make it, Keith eventually had to throw in the towel. He'll be back next year, for sure.

Character series: Harry Potter
This month: Once her remaining sick Pokémon were free of the virus, Luna volunteered during the Scurry, helping out mostly with event prep for the party, like hanging decorations and setting up tables. Outside of the scurry, she was doing some renovations around her breeding area in order to make room for some new pairs.

Character series: Voltron: Legendary Defender
This month: Romelle decided to volunteer as a rescuer at the Scurry. She has a couple of good flying types, like her Altaria, who are big enough to carry a sled and a passenger (sorry to anyone who hates putting their Pokémon in balls). She is currently also looking for a plot of land to use for breeding and a few other ideas she has cooking.

This month:
Kurama took a break from caring much about Team Rocket or his usual skating by on minimal effort, just to focus more on everything else going on in his life. As in playing along was less effort than making a point of not doing so without getting caught. Still keeping an eye on Botan's shop and doing very little travel at all this month after the virus situation.

This month:
Ed came out of hiding because someone released a loud child with his face into the wild and he had to deal with that. Nothing much else has changed for him but now everyone knows he's here still and he will be facing that reality soon. Also the fact that Envy has been keeping that quiet for some time? Which. Is bound to cause some feelings he's not sure what to do with.
Real life emergency nonsense kept me very much out of the loop this month and I was on hiatus from all games through the second half of February so not much else specific for either of them, but I feel like they'd have both ICly avoided the race thing anyway so probably for the best.

This month: Scar tried and failed spectacularly to compete in the Swinub Scurry. He also learned what an onsen is! The hard way! His training of his small army of cute pokemon continues.

This month: First of all, he got sick off the tail end of the Snorunt event, which is just his exact luck. (The sudden ability to perform Shadow Ball for the duration of his sickness was neat, though.)
Thankfully, he got better in time to watch the Swinub Scurry event, and had fun cheering for the participants!

Character series: Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal
This month: Good news: III was lucky enough to not get sick post Snorunt event! Hooray!
He also witnessed the Swinub Scurry event, taking some time off prepping to try facing a gym to do so. He's back in Kanto post Scurry, with intent on living up to his claim of being a Normal Non Rocket Trainer by testing his luck against Brock.

This month: (Where the heck did February even go??) Botan kicked things off with restarting her sweets shop (Honeyed Soul) with the help of her wife, her good friend (that is not her wife), and a friend of his (that is also not her wife). She was busy with commissions and making sure her Greavard's fur didn't end up all over the shop (and in candy, eugh...) despite him trying to help. A lot.

This month: Like a billion years ago, Heather inherited a literal sled-dog team, and now in the year of our lord 2025 she found out about that sledding competition in Blackthorn and was legally obligated to enter it. She certainly didn't win, but you know what, it was fun!
Character: Wrath
Character series: Fullmetal Alchemist
This month: Wrath's moping continues, but he received an unexpected surprise in the form of Edward Elric (or... an Edward Elric) popping up on the network, which gave him the motivation to actually be a little punk again for a minute, just like old times. Other than that, he was successfully dragged out of the house and to the Swinub Scurry, where he watched the race and got some fresh (cold) air.

Character series: Project Sekai
This month: He spent a lot of his time between Goldenrod and Violet taking note of interesting locations, and watching interactions between people and pokemon. When he wasn't doing that he was looking up local history and folklore. This is because he's run out of ideas for street acts and needs to recuperate his inspiration before the spring weather allows him more freedom to perform.

This month: This is true check-in month for me due to some major IRL issues, but offscreen Ryan was drowning in fruit baskets from his Snorunt ??? luck. He was also probably along for the ride with Min-Gi while he was volunteering for the Swinub Scurry.

This month: Lust attended the race to cheer on the participants she knows, and also just see what happens. She always enjoys the races. She's also been prepping for the spring season at her club.

This month:Korra also took some time to watch the race, but has mostly been getting her team in shape for the soon to be influx of tourists to the islands. She's determined to get her Pikachu into fighting shape. One of these days.
