Hell yeah! It doesn't hurt anyone so what's the harm?

I guess I'm lucky in that regard where I came from. We're getting to a point where it's just, pretty normal for people to be bi or gay or ace. Makes it a little jarring when I meet people who can't be who they are cos of where they came from :C

Japan is big on conformity. It keeps things really harmonious, so there's not much conflict between people, but at the same time... One of the most famous sayings we have is "The nail that sticks up is hammered down".

Yeah...it keeps things harmonious, but I imagine it can keep some of those nails really unhappy. It took a bit of uproar and yeah, things aren't always smooth but, in England at least we've visible now. There's super famous people who are bi. Icons who everyone knows and loves. Even in music; remind me to show you a bunch of songs by a band called Queen, they were headed by a man called Freddie Mercury and he's a legend.

Still. At least here there's no worry about being 'hammered down'. And if there was, I'd fight it all the way.

It's really not that bad. I love my home, and I'm really happy there! I wouldn't have it any other way, even if some things aren't perfect!

Oh! I know Queen! That's the band that played Bohemian Rhapsody! I didn't know he was... That's really amazing!

:D! I'm so glad you know Queen! I might have taught some of my Pokemon a few of their songs...

And hey, if you're happy, then it's alright. Hopefully it opens up more in the future though.

There's a lot of operatic and orchestral influence in their songs, so I got introduced to them in school! I wonder if any of my Pokemon would like them... Maybe Honky Tonk would? Xylo's more a strictly canon kind of guy.

depends entirely on the mon! Scuabtuinne only really liked them when I found a cover of 'Somebody to Love' by The Poffin String Quartet, but she wasn't so keen on the originals.

Also i got introduced to them cos Dad liked them and would sing them sometimes. Same with like, half of the music I ended up liking, including Bowie and Meatloaf.

To be fair, you can cover nearly any song in a way someone will like better then the original! And if cover songs weren't a thing... People like me would lose a lot of business!

That really sounds like fun 'tho, so have it in the family like that. My folks are super supportive, but they only get it so much, you know?
