With Christmas scooting ever closer, it's time to start thinking about the real reason for the season and that is gifts. Yes, yes, joy to all, peace on earth etc etc, but deep down what we all want to do is tear some wrapping paper off boxes and be dazzled by the contents.

In order to keep things a bit organised, we'll be putting this up as a central gift-giving post, and it will feature three things.

★★ Arceus' gift As many of you long term players might already know, Arceus tends to drop a few gifts on the people he has brought here on Christmas day. And this year is no different! These gifts will be revealed on December the 25th, so please check back then to see what your character will be receiving. And yes, these gifts will go out to all. Arceus doesn't judge. Maybe he should, but he doesn't. ★★ Secret Santa Though these gifts won't officially be delivered until the 25th, this post will also feature a thread where you can post up the gifts your character has gotten their Secret Santa recipient. Feel free to start posting these up as soon as this post goes up (we are not going to make you wait) ★★ Your gifts And finally, your gifts! If your character is the kind to get their friends a bunch of things, feel free to use this post to distribute the offerings. Much easier than hitting up a bunch of inboxes! If you would rather distribute your characters' gifts individually in various inboxes, feel free to do so! This post is merely an option for people who'd like to keep things in one central location.

Now with that all out of the way, let us take a moment to wish you all a very Merry Christmas (or, at the very least, a nicely adequate Thursday if you don't celebrate). 2020 has been Quite the year, and I don't think any of us could've predicted it turning out this way. (Turns out none of us had 20-20 vision). But we've made it through and while the times are still somewhat uncertain and unforeseen, we nevertheless hope it will all be looking up from here on out for all of us.

We want to thank you all for being such lovely players and for having contributed to the game as you did! Thank you for ruining baseball, for coming to Sinnoh with us, for Prom being Prom yet again, for submitting so many badge requests and for slipping in every app that you did.

And onwards to 2021, another year for pokemon shenanigans and nonsense!

Arceus' gift

Even Arceus itself is getting into the spirit of things and joining in on the gift-giving.

On Christmas morning, your character will find one of the following three packs¹ (the choice is up to you) in an impossible to miss location -- if they have a Christmas tree, it will be underneath there; if they don't, expect to find it sitting next to your character when they wake or at the foot of their bed.


Breeder pack

Comes inside a Silph Co egg case.



This state-of-the-art capsule will protect your Pokémon egg while it incubates. The glass sides of the case give a perfect view of the egg inside, while a special notch in the top allows you to always have a Pokéball on hand for when your new little friend hatches.

As a special feature, this egg case will prevent an egg from hatching while it is inside, instead giving trainers a warning beep. No more worrying about your new Onix hatching while you are in the shops! When the time comes, you'll have all the time you need to get the egg to a safe and secure location for it to hatch.

In addition to these gifts from Arceus, every individual who helped Santa prevent Team Rocket from stealing Christmas will receive a handcrafted ornament featuring one of their own pokemon (generally their starter pokemon, but it can be a different pokemon of their team if Santa felt they were closer to them). These ornaments perfectly reflect the individual pokemon, including any notable features like scars or strange colouration. Attached to these ornaments is a note which reads (in very lovely handwriting):

"Thank you for helping to save Christmas - Your Friend Santa Claus"

Meanwhile every Rocket member who participated in the heist, will find a lump of coal holding down a note as well. This note (still in very lovely handwriting) reads:

Kayo will find a hand-carved wooden sword, and matching lance. Both are adorned with a cute red bow! It's a nice decoration, but it also doubles as a cute hair piece.

For better or worse, Akane's gifts are all handmade, mostly because she feels that gifts should be handmade if you can make them? There's only one problem with this strategy: Akane Tendo is absolutely terrible at handicrafts. Observe.

But luckily for everyone, she's only had enough time to knit one (1) incredibly ugly scarf for her Secret Santa, so instead people are getting embroidered handkerchiefs, each of which has an attempt at a pokemon in the corner. Those recipients and their incredibly ugly handkerchiefs are as follows:

Carly gets one with a genuinely janky Joltik

Cassandra gets one with a truly terrible Type: Null.

Dirk gets two handkerchiefs because she heard from Connie's uncle (who's getting the worst wailord) that he'd just had a birthday, one of which has a pathetic Ponyta and one of which has a grotesque Galarian Ponyta.

Jolyne gets one with a lame loser of a Levanny.

Korra gets one with an absolutely awful Arcanine.

Dr Pines gets one with a just plain bad Beeheeyem.

And finally, Mr Solus is the recipient of one with an absolute wretch of a Rotom.

Look. She tried. Just be happy she didn't try to make cookies to add to the package.

Oh we love the goshdang holidays in this house, it's present time

Dirk gets to open his at Jane's house, whether he visits on the eve or day:
- A belated birthday present (wrapped seperately and kept away from the tree, because birthdays are different from Christmas) containing a t-shirt that says "My friend went to the Indigo Plateau and all I got was this T-Shirt" and a pair of tabi socks...striped much like a Beedril. Yes, those are Beedril tabi.
- For Christmas specifically, there is a box of candied orange ginger cookies that she hopes he likes, and in a seperate box, a jacket with a card to the maker's PokeEtsy shop for vintage clothes, if he wants to indulge himself some more later.

Dave, if Dirk drags him along, will receive some apple oatmeal cookies and an excellent t-shirt that she hopes he will appreciate even if he's a grown-ass man. She also includes a note saying, I know where some good thrift shops are if you need to pick up some warmer clothes! :B because these Texas boys and winter, man.

Dimitri and his entire traveling group will receive a large, large box, probably delivered by Pidgeot because a Pidgey carrying this would be incredibly cruel. Inside are tins of cookies. So many cookies. Like...holy fuck, more cookies?!? Included is a note that reads, I wasn't sure what your group particularly liked to eat, so I just decided to include lots of different things. Let me know if there's any problems! - Jane Crocker and there is at least one type of cookie that everyone will like. Or, in Felix "I don't like sweets" Fraldarius's case, maybe won't hate?

Lust gets two parcels:
- One Wedding Gift (wrapped appropriately) of a set of four colored crystal glasses. These are very carefully packed.
- One Christmas Gift of pistachio cookies (enough to share with all of Shark House) and a palatte of glitter eyeshadow.

Kazuki asked for cookies, so Jane is sending him a special batch of mint sandwich cookies as well as some new kitchen utensils, because you can never have enough.

Erina is getting a cute banana leaf parasol along with a sterling silver necklace that is one of those kitschy charm ones that has a little heart with her and Jonathan's initials and then the first names of their stupid family. Excluding Giorno and Josuke as she doesn't know they exist, oops.

Jonathan is getting the cutest goddamned Arcanine plush because she knows what she's doing, obvs. He gets a matching bracelet to Erina's ridiculous necklace with the same stipulations as above.

Johnny gets a cute baby galarian ponyta plush. Eat shit, Johnny.

Emporio gets a sylveon kigu because that's now an inside joke. And also just an IOU for some quality-ass time.

Foo gets a lime green puffy jacket with her initials on the back!!!! Make it as gaudy as you want, Kitty, I know how you be.

Chloe is going to get some saucy photos because she's a jerk and also a really, really nice coat. Crosses can be removed/added as wanted.

Steven gets a ridiculous hat

Emet is going to get a pair of slippers because she's a jerk yet it's also useful.

Dirk is going to get a mysterious egg with a note that says "you're full of this". Said egg with hatch into a tauros. Don't ask where she got this egg from.

Lance (the E4 one) gets to feel her wrath via an album of dragon butts with a note on the front that says "Since I know you have a weird fetish for dragons. Enjoy. Love, Jolyne". Lance, why are you still accepting her messages.

When Jean opens his package, he'll find a cologne that smells warm and spicy, but isn’t too overpowering. A basket of goodies for self-care (most of it is themed for men, as long as those men like bath bombs and lotions). The package comes with a little note -- Don’t forget to take care of yourself. - A&A”. The package also comes with a handmade pack of “Coupons” for omelettes over rice (10)

Tim will find a very tired Bailey the Oricorio, and a rather large package. Contained within is an old typewriter that’s been repaired. There will also be a package for Lust containing Sleeping Sylveon plush with a little heart. Its tag has a little angel wing on it. It’s nestled in a very soft shawl.

Tim and Lust also receive a gift certificate to a very small, but still quite fancy restaurant in Ecruteak. “A treat from us. Hopefully you will consider a double-date? - A&A”

Jane will receive a package containing a number of books, three in fact. There is a Kalosian pastry book, as well as a book titled “How to Become the Next Detective Pikachu.” Finally, there’s also a lockpicking kit and a guide on how to use it. That's not suspicious at all!

Steven receives the newest Dungeons and Dragonites expansion, with a note: “Maybe we can try again? - A&A” There’s also a set of very ornate metal math rocks.

Sasha will find a Campfire Cookbook, wrapped in a very exquisite shawl.

Shiro receives a warm, weighted blanket. He also receives a self-care kit largely similar to Jean’s. It’s filled with warm smelling soaps, bath bombs and bubble baths. There’s also a book somewhere in that pile.

Though they might not know Angel, Greg and Rose receive a package from the Oricorio just the same. For Greg, there is a collection of sheet music, all containing the tabs for the relaxing music from the Sevii Islands. Rose receives a beautiful white and pink sarong.

The mysterious Oricorio also arrives for Kayo, bringing a copy of "The Incredible Mr. Ninetails." The book is tucked into a hat with Vulpix ears!

And of course, there's a gift for Armin as well, strictly from Angel herself. A custom made scarf is contained inside a tiny, inconspicuous bag with his name on it. It's extra long, perfect for sharing if he wants. A design has been embroidered on both ends -- a Sylveon perched on a Lapras. Said scarf is carefully looped around a little box. This contains a necklace with a little angel wing. Though the charm itself is small and dainty, the chain is at least a little thicker. You know. Manly.

Greg's never done Christmas before, but he's sort of guessing they're supposed to be birthday present level? He has a tendency to default to music when giving gifts.

Carly (and Jolyne) are getting something from him and Rose together: a warm wooloo-wool blanket, made from both regular and shiny wooloo, in a black and white striped pattern. It's definitely big enough for two!

Armin is getting a classic album first issued decades ago: Songs of the Wailord and Wailmer.

Kazuki is getting another classic album, Lee Morgan's The Seviper.

Dirk, who helped make their caravan, gets a vinyl single of "Old Town Route", containing both the original and remix.

.... and finally, and most importantly, Rose is getting something he's been secretly working on as soon as he learned what Christmas was. After slipping away to a crafting store, to get beads, fake pearls, and fabric rosettes (among other things), Greg went and made his wife some pretty handmade jewelry.

Oh. Right. And his Secret Santa got something too.

Dirk stop handmaking so many of your gifts challenge

Jane's gifts are wrapped in "over the hill" joke birthday paper, but she will be receiving a powerful flashlight that he advises her not to look directly into, and additional gijinka dolls for her dollhouse, corresponding to the rest of her Champion team. These come with an tiny, functioning flashlight that is not quite as powerful, but does come with a note suggesting she hit him up if she needs additional bulbs for it... so it's not exactly meant for Christmas lights, either.

Emet's gift is a level 50 Bolthund (trained up from a level 10 Yamper) named Cerberus, along with a handwritten letter containing as much mythos about Cerberus as Dirk can remember. Which turns out to be kind of a lot. Emet also gets a custom smuppet, modelled on himself. It's stuffed a bit differently... especially at the ass. Dirk couldn't use the kind of precise measuring instruments he'd have liked to, but it's as close to the real thing as he could still achieve without ruining the surprise.

Steven, Carly, Jolyne, Akane, and Doppio all receive little experimental dolls that can be unzipped and turned inside out.... Doppio's is just his Morpeko's two moods, thankfully(?), but Steven (Gengar), Carly (Alcremie), and Jolyne (Slowking) all get dolls that reverse from being a Pokemon to being a UFO catcher style doll of themself. Akane's, weirdly, reverses into... a doll of Connie.

Akane also receives a printed and bound copy of Connie's book, along with a glossy print of the fanart Dirk did of said book.

Dave will be receiving two (slightly muddy) mismatched fossils ("the dirt is authentic") and a pair of coolguy shoes for the road.

Hythlodaeus will be told to his face that Dirk had no idea what he wanted besides [CENSORED BUT IT INVOLVES EMET]. Just ignore how many gifts Dirk gave that the recipient didn't actually want

Estinien receives a gold-plated fancy santa(?!), around whose neck is looped a pair of noise-cancelling headphones. The disc shapes on those headphones are shaped like Jigglypuffs, for some reason.

Jean: He gets a nice hand-knit scarf and hat set and also a basket of food that's easy to eat while on the road to Pokemon Battles.

Claudia: An obnoxiously bright oversized sweater that Sasha knitted herself because we all know Claudia is secretly stuck in the 90's and will pair it with some leggings.

Kazuki: A pair of trumpet cufflinks! Not that she thinks he has somewhere to go all dressed up, but one never knows and must be prepared!

Pidge: For the ol' ball and chain, Lance gets her a sweatshirt that's been already worn (by him) and doused in his cologne because someone keeps stealing his actual sweatshirts. How dare! He also gets her a portable retro gaming machine and a nice memory foam space themed pillow because he doesn't want to be sleeping in the Pokedog house tonight.

Shiro:: A care kit for dyed hair and a shaving kit because Lance peeped that chin forest creeping in and no, Shiro, we are not doing that again.

Keith: He gets a booklet of free drink vouchers, one for each member of the Mothman Team, because Lance is sure Keith needs a few after attempting the Elite Team.

Matt: Bro-in-law gets a set of sciencey coffee mugs because Lance is sure running on little-to-no sleep runs in the Holt genes.

Allura: A set of silk scarves in colors that reminded Lance of Allura. Good to keep her neck warm, hide hickies from Catboi over there, and that hair under control!

Romelle: A bath spa set because if she's still traveling on the road, Lance is sure that she never gets any good soaking time.

Thace: Lance still isn't too familiar with him, but he couldn't leave out someone who helped Team Voltron. A basket of Pokemon goodies is always a hit. Included is a nice stuffed plush of Lance's Wailord, Bruce Whalis.

Shadowmaru: As a man of cultured taste, Maru gets a silk robe and pajama set. As a man who keeps staring at the ocean and never gets in, he also gets a kiddie pool with a note promising swimming lessons in the very near future (like next week future.)

Angel will be receiving

★ A lovely, very soft sweater. It’s oversized, perfect for getting comfy in.

★ It’s a box of socks!! Armin knows Angel’s feet get cold sometimes, so this box is here to try and make sure that won’t happen again — it includes all sorts of socks, from soft and fluffy ones, ones that look like cute kitty feet, thick ones that look like a Wooloo, and even ones that go up over her knees. If her feet are still cold after this, he tried ok!

★ Finally, in a small box, Angel will find a delicate silver necklace. It’s of a bird taking flight from an open cage. Along with the necklace, a card has been tucked into the box, reading the phrase “I am no bird; and no net ensnares me; I am a free human being, with an independent will; which I now exert to leave you”; on the back of the card it reads “Never doubt that you deserve your freedom and that you can and will have it. No matter what.” Both lines are written in Armin’s handwriting.


Kazuki will be receiving

★ A special book on Pokemon relaxation and massage techniques! Perhaps it will be something he can teach people about while they stay at his little rest home.

★ Along with the book are also several different incense bundles, some very soft scented, some more flowery, because Armin has read that can also help Pokemon (and people) relax.


Ford Pines will be receiving

★ a mystery.

In an unmarked envelope, he’ll be receiving a coded set of coordinates. This set of coordinates will lead to a hidden capsule along with another set of encoded coordinates. This set of coordinates will lead to yet another capsule and an encoded set of coordinates and so on until Ford will have four capsules. (The capsules have been hidden in the area around his gym) Inside of the capsules are fragments of encoded text which, when deciphered and properly put together, read `Happy Hannukah` as well as a request to please tell Armin the proper dates of Hannukah next year so he can get Ford’s gift to him at the right time.

Every set of coordinates, as well as every fragment of text has a different cipher or puzzle associated with it. Armin poured over all the code books Dipper left him, but he is still a novice so it won’t take a super computer to crack. Still he hopes Ford will enjoy the mystery and sense of accomplishment at the end.

So! Claudia's presents have two parts to them, both handmade. She's an artist, after all, and one great part of being an artist is saving money by making people little personalized presents. So everyone on her present list (who are still in game) is getting two things: a tiny hand-painted paper-mache sculpture of a pokemon she associates with them and a nicely illustrated hand-drawn 'egg vowtcher' (sic) entitling them to a free egg from her!

Said present list is as follows:

Catra (Shiny Meowth), Thace (Whismur), Shinobu (Galarian Rapidash), Sasha (Swirlix), Armin (Azumarill), Dr Pines (Togepi), Kirishima (Shiny Mareep), and Kiri (Chatot.)

(Riku is also on the present list, but instead of the paper-mache sculpture, his 'egg vowtcher' comes with a bunch of idea sketches for the Pokemon Guardian Corps logo.)

Additionally! Claudia's traveling companions current and past are getting a third present to go along with their art presents!

Shinobu is getting some really nice art supplies from the art supply store in Goldenrod, including some Copichu markers.

Catra is getting a totally cool and fashionable liepard print coat.

... and Thace is getting a very soft, very warm purple scarf which only coincidentally is also perfect for covering up the ridiculous number of hickies he's been getting from his new boyfriend.

Plus she made something for her Secret Santa too!

... also she might have gotten Shinobu some TMs (Draining Kiss, Psychic Fangs, Breaking Swipe) while they were at the Christmas market, but she couldn't wait to give them to him, so she's not counting them as part of the present.

Bakugou receives a pair of electric heated gloves, black with orange palms. He explains they're waterproof and have about eight hours of battery life before they need to be recharged. Also there's a simple, but cozy black scarf. The flame-decal sash he presents might raise a brow until Kirishima explains the nature of the Focus Band.

For Claudia, Kirishima has made a fair attempt at doing calligraphy of Claudia's name in kanji, which means there's about half a painting pad in a trash can in a hotel somewhere and ink fingerprints everywhere. Indeed, there are some inky fingerprints at the bottom corner of the finished page. The result is... passable to a native speaker and perhaps impressive for someone who has no idea what they're looking at. Kirishima's pretty proud of it. He also awkwardly explains he was told the Destiny Knot was good for breeders at the Holiday Market, but after learning Team Rocket was part of it, he's not so sure if it was a scam.

Jaskier is responsible for practically the other half of that poor painting pad as Kirishima has attempted to Rosetta Stone the same phrase in hirigana, katakana, and kanji. Literally it translates to: "Perseverance is also strength." And of course, should they be in Goldenrod during the Rocket incident or before winter ends, there's a free drink waiting for him and Geralt at the dive bar Kirishima works at ( served by an of-age bartender, of course, paid for by him ).

And while Kirishima would certainly like to send more gifts out to the people he's met and become friendly with, his budget is spent and it's been made more than clear he's not the best at baking. He will, however, be sending out well-wishes to their inboxes.

Lance gets a handmade portable gaming system that's totally way more advanced than anything being carried in the PokéStores because ALTEAN AND GALRAN TECH KNOWLEDGE, YO. so now he can stop hogging her games when he wants to play something else while she's playing. he also gets One (1) Private Voucher that he can cash in for a special occasion and she will comply with no questions asked.

Matt gets a telescope that's compatible with the PokéGear so that he can continue being the space nerd that he truly is.

Shiro gets a very pretty rainbow-colored gift bag full of sleeping pills relaxing sleepy-time tea (the coffee is buried underneath) as well as a prototype for a PokéBall that should not be able to open on its own. The PokéBall comes with a little note that says "For Blue. Good luck!"

Keith gets this beautiful candle.

Allura gets a necklace with this pendant on it. Because Pidge still likes to think Allura is the queen of the universe, in the best possible way.

Romelle gets a handbook that Pidge put together herself, full of Earth phrases and idioms and all the best curse words.

Steven has too many fucking people to do presents for and it's all his own fault. Because of this, I am going to separate his list into Rockets and Everyone Else and put them in separate sub-comments, just to make everything easier.

Also, he gave his Secret Santa something.

Prezzies from Chloe

ford - a nice, cozy woven turtleneck and a gift basket full of Fight Club samples with stylized baggies for each variant of persim as well as a nice sized jar of gloom juice + a christmas card with a picture of her and munchies

steven - this stupidly oversized mug. also a full set of office supplies, including a day planner, a calendar and a pen enscribed with "bossdude". The day planner is a deep purple, almost black color. Each page on the calendar is hand drawn and each month features a colored drawing of a different ghost pokemon. The style of each is almost cartoony, with a flare for making them look more macabre, her coloring styles favoring a neon, almost watercolor quality to them to give them a pop. There is no note, she kept trying to write one but they all sounded too schmoopy and she chickened out.

jolyne - a gift card to the nearest Pokemon equiv of Hot-Topic, with a fancy stylized Christmas card that opens up to reveal an intricate sketch of a middle finger and a quick "merry chrysler". Because she wanted to do something nice, but also get back at you for insulting her favorite store that one time.

kirishima - he is getting a big box and the first item he notices will be a fake butcher knife, which looks suspiciously like an old halloween prop. Also inside the box is enough red hair dye to last at least five or six future touch ups... and maybe a blue one slipped in there, too, just in case you decide to be cool and mix it up one day.

I may be forgetting a few people here, but most of the people on Shinobu's list of people will at the very least have gotten handmade art of some kind (usually a painting, very frequently done from memory and uniformly Quite Good).

Romelle: Cookies for herself and her pokemon (carefully labeled as to which is which and what's in them), a pair of purple combs for her hair, and a winter set of hat, gloves, and scarf in pinks, blues, and purples. There's also a small painting of Romelle and her Stufful, with New Bark Town in the background.

Claudia: A variety of TMs for her pokemon for breeding purposes, including Zen Headbutt, Draining Kiss, and Breaking Swipe. Also a very nice set of pastels, fixative for finished pastel works, and some good paper to use them on, as well as a weatherproof portfolio to keep them in. The pads and the portfolio are on the small side for ease of travel.

Steven D: Three decent-sized paintings, tastefully framed, for Steven to display or not display as he so chooses. One is of Steven and Thace together in human form, one is of Steven and Thace together in their respective true forms, and the third is of Steven's sister Thorne, smiling happily (and slightly mischievously).

Jules: Two sets of clothing (shirts, trousers) tailored to Jules's measurements gotten via Steven D because he wasn't sure Jules would even think to get them altered if he estimated and had them made too large, plus a set of gift certificates to McDonphan's so Rust can have her fries.

...Also a DVD of Krookodile Dunsparce, because seriously, that was the worst Australian accent he's ever heard.

Kirishima: A set of assorted healing items for his pokemon, and a small painting of Kirishima, Bakugou, and their respective starters. There is also a winter set of gloves, hat, and scarf with a Shiny Gyarados design motif.

Notably, Bakugou's painting is not a copy of Kirishima's but an entirely new painting done from scratch. There is also a winter set of gloves, hat, and scarf in black.

Grant: Farmer's Almanacks for both the Kanto and Johto regions, along with charts that depict the moon phases for the coming year, because even if he doesn't have to worry about werewolf transformations most of the time (and weird weekends that fall during a full moon are always a possibility), Shinobu knows from similar-but-not-related experience that it's hard to let go of that sort of necessary vigilance. There is also a TM Flash for use in the caves, and a small painting of Chip.

Chip: Two boxes of assorted treats for Chip and their Paliens Pokemon, plus a painting of Espcheep and some of the other members of Chip's team.

Claude didn't have a lot of money to go around after that whole-ass Prism Scale the gifts he got his traveling companions, but there are a few people he went out of his way for nonetheless!

First and foremost is obviously Jaskier, who Claude has only been heavily flirting with since his arrival at this point. The Pidgey Post will drop off a very carefully wrapped box. Inside the box, carefully cushioned, is a bottle of absinthe, along with written instructions for how to best drink absinthe, written from memory based on the instructions of the store owner who sold Claude the bottle. Ah, but what's this? Around the neck of the bottle hangs a chain! The chain is for a necklace, as it turns out, which contains a familiar pressed flower. Threaded on the chain is also a ring, displaying the same flower. Neither are perhaps overly fancy, but when you're browsing thrift stores on a budget, finding two pieces of inexpensive, specifically buttercup-themed jewelry is still doing exceptionally well!

But one further surprise! Underneath the note about the absinthe is another piece of paper, this of heavier and somewhat higher quality. Written on it, in Claude's fanciest and most formal writing, is this:

At this poem I just made up.

On the opposite side of the paper, in less floral writing, is a proper note: The poem's a little silly, but honestly I figured you'd like that. And it's not like I'm going to be able to compete with a professional, amateur that I am! Sorry none of the gifts are too fancy; a man of your caliber should be accustomed to stars plucked from the fabric of the sky, threaded on golden sunbeams. But, well, I'm poor. Maybe my company can make it up to you, if we share a glass of this sometime. Here's hoping that chance comes soon.

Kazuki receives a bundle from the Pidgey Post that contains a whole bunch of assorted berries for his pokémon! Claude really went all out on foraging for a few days, especially after the network gave him a glimpse at how many pokémon Kazuki has to give treats to. There's also a nice container of pokémon treats, and a handwritten note saying one (1) voucher for a day's volunteer work from Claude von Riegan! (This is in addition to the help I'll be giving you already while we're staying at your inn, by the way.) Happy holidays!

Dimitri: As promised, he wanted to get him something special. Inside a box were a set of metal drumsticks. They were tinted in a very bold blue color and on the bottom was engraved "DIMITRI". Someone has had metal work training. A tin of handmade desserts.

Grant and Chip: Team Dad and Kid get a basket of goodies. Inside the basket was fresh fruit: mangos, bananas, and apples. There also seemed to be a jar of glazed nuts and pecans, sweetened with honey and a dash of cinnamon. There was also a package of desserts that were handmade.

Kirishima: Okay so, he knew ya'll just met but he found an absolutely amazing walking stick for travels and he had to send it to him and call it a "future cane" as a joke. Also some handmade treats.

Everyone on the list (as well as anyone who has even spoken to Kazuki once or twice) Will be getting sweets hand made by his Slurpuff and Alcremie, such as cookies, macarons, meringues, etc. They're very good at what they do, so it's guaranteed to be tasty.

Armin: One of these so he can mark any books he might lend out at his gym.

Sasha: An electric lunchbox so she can cook herself a nice lunch when she's on the go!

Dimitri: A very tough, heavy-duty case for the PokeGear to withstand his giant gauntlet hands so he can play games with Gremlin. There's also a subscription to a popular gaming magazine!

Claude: A helmet with goggles meant to be worn while on a flying Pokemon, in anticipation for the day he has a Noivern of his own.

Jane: A light-blue apron personalized with her name, and a series of pulpy paperback books about detectives and their adventures (with lots of Pokemon involved, of course).

Greg Universe: An electric tuner for guitars, and a brand-new distortion pedal.

Armin: This bracelet, as well as a bottle of top shelf sparkling berry wine, with a message that hints that he should enjoy it with Angel. Are they even of age? Jean certainly doesn't care.

Sasha: A book about the various techniques of cooking, from beginner to expert, presented in a clear and concise manner that could even keep her attention. There's a note that says that he really enjoyed the meal the other day, and she should hone her skill, since she has real potential.

Angel: A large, soft blanket that's big enough for two people (esp two people on the smaller side) to enjoy, and a subscription to an ice cream delivery service that send you a new flavor every month.

Felix barely knows anyone in this world, having only just gotten here a few weeks ago. He did give gifts to most of his traveling companions, though.

And he does know someone who has a) agreed to duel him and b) a ridiculously raucous cat. So, via Pidgey Post...

Estinien will receive a little box filled with various types and forms of catnip and silvervine, including chewing sticks big and sturdy enough for a Perrserker's large mouth and sharp teeth, an extra-strength catnip spray, and cat treats made from unique blends of catnip and Pokemon berries.

The included note reads: Keep your Perrserker occupied during the day. Use the spray on whatever you want it to sleep on that isn't you. My cats liked the berry treats so that's a recommendation I guess. Happy whatever holiday this is? p.s. a friend made me a high-quality training sword so bring your best to the duel.

Gifts from Dimitri

Dimitri wasn't expecting to care about so many people, but here he is regardless. For a lot of these individuals, they would have gotten a message beforehand asking where one would send a gift, so these aren't exactly surprises... or, at least, the idea of a gift isn't a surprise.

Cecil Harvey has never been forgotten as a very helpful individual. However, Dimitri is trying to be careful with what he spends... so he will get a very small and clumsily handcrafted wooden mouse. Rat? Rattata? it's not the most detailed thing, although it is very clear what it is... There are also some pictures that have clearly been painted by tiny Rat hands. That is from Gremlin.

Neville Longbottom has still been on Dimitri's mind for a while, although his greeting had to be a little late... So he managed to get lucky in the thrift shop and bought a toasty (but slightly overlarge) coat for him. The good news is the extra room means it's easier to stuff an egg in there!

Kazuki Hihara gets the bonus of Dimitri... actually being there in his inn! So this is very easy, as a matter of fact. One of the gifts is a Beginner's Guide to Plumbing! Dimitri figured that would be important for figuring out the various issues an inn might run into on this matter. He will also try to make breakfast for his kind host, and brought the ingredients for smores! Chip has imparted that great wisdom.

Zuke gets a delivery from Dimitri's very own Pidgeotto, Elshot, although the gift is very tiny. There is a small packet of hot chocolate, and... a pair of hand crafted wooden drumming sticks, smoothed out. They're not top of the line or anything, but they're made well, and won't give him any splinters. There is also another rat painting from Gremlin included.

Scorpia may have been someone Dimitri only met briefly... but something about her stuck out in his head. Or maybe it was just missing one's friend. So she'll soon receive a simple necklace with a pressed flower sealed in resin acting as the pendant.
