A mini player plot appears!

dreamsofaheroHello all! So as you may have already seen, the Collegiate Gym is temporarily closed to challenges starting from a week from now and lasting at least a few weeks or so!
Important things to note as to what this entails, for those who care about gym operations and closures, are as follows:
- Starting as of Ryner's network announcement, the gym is indefinitely closed to challenges. Presumably another IC announcement will be made by one of the leaders when it's open again. In the mean time there will be no official matches, and no earning badges.
- That said, the gym itself is NOT closed and will have its normal facilities open to the public more or less according to the usual schedule.
- Any classes/events Sion or Ryner handle are cancelled until further notice.
- Any classes/events run by NPCs are still on, assuming they were already scheduled and accounted for!
- No new things can be scheduled at the gym (because Sion was the one who handled all that) for now, which means that as time goes on some of the previously-scheduled stuff will gradually peter out.
Now, as for the possibly more relevant of why is this happening? Well, basically some of Sion's issues caught up with him and he's having something of a breakdown as a result, and Ryner's too busy trying to deal with Sion to bother worrying about the gym. This has been a long, long, long time in coming, hence why it'll be at least a few weeks before things resolve, one way or another!
In the mean time, if anyone's seeing this and going "hey, my character would do something about that!" in some way? Well, you're in luck! I'll be putting up a log in a few days for various shenanigans, whether it's friends coming to check in on these two or ne'er-do-wells deciding this would be a great time to try breaking into a gym. Ryner's player and I are both open to plotting, so if you have a specific idea/request/question please feel free to drop a comment here!
Please note however for those interested in trying to help, that Sion has some very deep-seated issues and that his canon is actually quite dark and full of many nasty things. Many/most of which Sion has had some experience or connection with. Since overall this is a lighthearted RP some people may not want to touch on some of those things at all, or simply don't want their character(s) to deal with it. If this is the case and you still want to do something please let me know, and we can see if there's a way to work around it.
