Hello, everyone! We have exciting updates about our mod team!
We would like to thank those who submitted applications earlier this month. After carefully considering each candidate, we have decided to take on Worm as an event mod! Worm currently plays Scar (Fullmetal Alchemist) in-game, and will be helping us craft events and plots to keep the game exciting and fresh.
After some discussion, there has also been some reshuffling of roles on the current team. Everett has decided to step up to a head mod position for Victory Road. Everett was previously a list mod, responsible for overseeing badges, shinies, and activity check. They will be helping manage and oversee the rest of the mod team, brainstorming event plans, answering FAQ questions, as well as making sure that the game continues running smoothly. The other remaining mods, Kit and Raile, will be taking over Everett's previous list mod duties!
This coming August will be a quiet month while we settle into the new team. In order to approach event creation in a more structured way and to avoid burnout, we will be officially trying out a bi-monthly event schedule.
For you players, this will NOT be a major shift in your day-to-day roleplaying. Historically, big events in Victory Road have occurred every few months, with some smaller Freaky Fridays or swarms in between. This is just an official statement that we’ll be trying to make the schedule more structured! You can look forward to big happenings during the following months:
- January
- March
- May (Prom)
- July
- September
- November (Fourth Wall)
We will be brainstorming further changes to the mod team’s quality of life to make it easier for us, as adults with full-time jobs, to continue setting up fun events and opportunities for you to grow and develop your characters. We thank you all for being patient, and we will be sure to let you all know what changes will be made!
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to comment on this post, or reach out to us via the mod contact page! We're looking forward to bringing you many more months of Pokémon fun.
