Fourth Wall info-post
Fasten your seatbelts, because it is (almost) time for yet another Victory Road Fourth Wall!

From Friday the 19th to Sunday the 21th of May, Victory Road will once against be breaching its containment walls, dragging friend and foe alike into a maelstrom of weirdness and Pokemon shenanigans. For three days, the regions of Johto and Kanto will be saying goodbye to the laws of physics and common sense, and instead be ruled by the capricious whims of, well, whoever it is that causes these weird weekends to happen. We don't know who it is. Do you?
In any case, during this weekend, not only your characters will be dealing with a heap of nonsense, but people from outside the game can also take a little stab at having some Pokemon fun. In this info post, we will have a little Fourth Wall glossary for anyone who hasn't experienced one of these weekends before, but as is so common with these weekends, there will also be a little special going on this time. So, there also be a separate FAQ to answer your questions regarding that.
We figured that people might want a little bit of additional time to digest (and come up with plans!) for this Fourth Wall's special twist, which is why this FAQ will be going up a bit early, giving you all a chance to read over everything and ask any questions that you might have.
For more information, please read our little Fourth Wall FAQ
What is a Fourth Wall Event?
A Fourth Wall event is an in-game event where people from other games, random characters, even players themselves, just randomly interact with your characters. It's a literal breaking of that invisible "fourth wall" that separates the game-verse from... the rest of the internet. It’s meant to be a silly and fun time though all kinds of CR can take place during it.
How do you participate?
In short, a character makes a post in the comm or a top-level in the mod-posted catch-all and others tag it. Feel free to just tag around if you don’t want to start a thread of your own. You do not have to stick to your in-game character accounts during this event; you can use characters from other games, crack accounts, player accounts, etc to play!
What kind of characters can participate?
Anything and everything, from AU’s to characters from other DW games, ponies, disembodied heads, zombies, Arceus with a saddle, the players, Hello Kitty, and the list goes on...
What about characters coming in, can they have a Pokémon too?
Sure thing! You can bring in any Pokémon from any generation and challenge whoever you want for however much you want. Feel free to knock down or burn down anything. Ride Arceus into battle wearing nothing but a pineapple on your head. It's all good!
Current players are also allowed to have whatever else they want in their party, but all Legendaries will depart after the weekend is over. No keeping the Groudon that followed you home!
Can my character catch Pokémon to KEEP during the event?
Yes, they may! Feel free to saddle your character with some odd Pokémon they weren't expecting to have like a surprise Magikarp appearing inside their backpack.
There are some exceptions-- Pokemon not listed on the availability pages (Johto, Kanto, Sevii) cannot be kept after the event. For example, your character may encounter a wild Chansey in Lavender Town and keep their new friend, but you would not be able to catch and keep Articuno.
Characters also may not keep Pokemon that were given to them by visiting characters-- feel free to get vague and wibbly-wobbly about how a shockingly similar wild Pokemon (as long as it's on the Availability List!) wound up in your character's possession, but nothing that a visiting character gifts to a resident one will stick around once the weekend is over.
We’re also trusting that players will keep this reasonable, and stick to just one or two Pokemon to keep after the event.
Would my non-human character remain in their VR form for the event? What about powers?
Up to you! Your character can return to their original form, powers intact, or whatever you like! Have fun.
What about the environment?
With all the strange things going on, feel free to have your characters experience anomalies while they are travelling. Routes that took days to travel before can now be crossed in minutes. Characters can suddenly find themselves waking up in a different city altogether! If your character is far from where they started out when the event ends, feel free to have them remain there!
Can my character keep items they find during the Fourth Wall?
If this item is normally easily obtainable in the world of the game, like a Pokeball from the store or some choice rare berries, then yes. The exception to this is that we don’t want people keeping rare items or TMs.
Items like a new house that didn’t previously exist on their street, twenty Masterballs, a car, or piles of rubies that appeared during the event can not be kept. This includes items they may have had access to using their abilities or interacting with the warping environment, or any items from home they didn’t already have with them. They will all disappear at the end of the event!
Will my character remember the event once it’s over? What about previous Fourth Wall events?
It is up to you if your character’s memory suddenly becomes clear and they remember previous Fourth Walls during the span of the event.
Once the event ends, your characters’ memories will be somewhat fractured and mixed up. Recalling the events of the weekend will feel like recalling an especially vivid dream, but they are true memories. If you need a number for reference, figure that a character can remember about 80% of what happens during this three-day period.
What happened to those three days our characters mysteriously lost?
There's still no explanation for that one. The Professors won't even be reachable for a few days; don't expect them to answer your calls. To make it worse, you may not be where you were last...
Does this count for the activity check?
Fourth wall threads and posts carried out by characters who are current residents of VR are fair game for AC. Fourth-wallers and AU versions of a character currently in VR (for example, the same character played as from a different canonpoint, etc) do not count towards AC, even when played by the same player.
What if I just arrived and haven't made an in-character introduction post yet?
Feel free to arrive in the middle of the event! Your character will probably just be that much more confused. You may also hold off until after the event if you wish, in order to not become lost in the confusion.
What if I don't want to participate?
Fourth Wall is not a required event. However, it does affect the game's setting, so logging would have to be backdated or forward-dated to before or after the fourth wall. If you choose not to participate, your character may enter a glitch or be asleep during the event. They will still lose three days’ time and be disoriented like everyone else.
I have a different question…
No worries! Just comment here and we’ll get on that!
So, what's so special this time?
You see, during a normal Fourth Wall Weekend (or as normal as they get), non-human characters can regain their normal powers and bodies for the duration of the weekend. And while that is still possible this weekend as well, it also looks like, well… a lot of other people are also ending up with powers and non-human elements. Even people who definitely do not have any of these normally!
It's as if Arceus was carrying the big bag of Stored Stolen Powers, ready to pass them back to the people they belong to when it tripped and scattered them all around like marbles on a tile floor.
So as an extra little treat this Fourth Wall, we are essentially doing a 'Power' Swap event! As always, this is entirely optional (as is the whole Fourth Wall), so if you'd rather just have your character regain their normal powers/body, that is entirely possible. But if you are looking for some extra insanity this weekend, why not stick your character with an entirely new set of powers?
What counts as a power?
Good question!
Essentially, every non-human aspect that the game normally removes is up for grabs. Which means that for the purpose of this Fourth Wall, non-human species count as 'power' too.
However your character doesn't have to experience their new species/power in exactly the same way as the canon character in Victory Road normally does. As long as it fits within what is possible in said canon, it is okay.
Or rather, let's give some examples.
In the world of My Hero Acadamy, people have something called quirks, which are essentially superhuman powers. Because we have characters from the My Hero Acadamy world in our game currently, for this Fourth Wall, your character could gain their very own quirk! However, you don't need to limit yourself to having the exact same quirk as the characters currently in game have. As long as it would be something that counts as a quirk in canon, you can give it to your character!
Our only limitation is that a character that is currently in Victory Road has to have that canon ability.
Or, to go back to examples:
We currently have no characters from Naruto. That means your character couldn't suddenly become a Naruto-style ninja during this event. Similarly, while we do have a character from Star Wars, there are currently no Jedi in the game. So your character couldn't become a Jedi.
Just think of it this way: Arceus is (unintentionally or intentionally, we leave that judgement up to you) spreading the powers it has normally taken from your characters in new and funny ways. But Arceus can only give away what he has previously taken. So if there is no character like that in Victory Road, Arceus cannot give out those powers.
Can my character gain multiple powers?
Not at the same time, no.
However, because the Fourth Wall lasts several days, you are free to have your character experience different powers for each of the three days. It is entirely up to you if you want your character to have a slightly longer, and possibly more in depth experience, or up to three quick swaps in succession.
Can my character gain different powers from their own canon?
As long as someone with those powers is in the game, that is entirely fine! If your character's normal power is one that comes in various types, it's also fine to mix up the type.
For example, say you normally play a wizard from a DnD-type canon. DnD wizards come in various flavours. So if your powers are normally based around divination, you could, for this event, become a wizard that is focused on Illusion. However, it wouldn't be possible to suddenly become different kind of magic user all together, unless that kind if also represented in the game. So, changing from wizard to cleric is a no go.
How will I know what powers are available?
A good question -- and for the answer, we'd like to ask you guys for a bit of help. We don't know all your powers. But you do. (presumably). So if your character has any cool powers or inhuman abilities or different species that you think might be of interest to other people during this Fourth Wall, feel free to use this post as a way to explain the powers you have. You don't need to go very in depth; a useful wiki link is just fine. Just help out those who might want to do more than just switch to the powers/species/abilities of their closest CR.
(Listen, we know what half of you are planning, we see you, and we respect you.)
Can only one person end up with a certain power/does the swap need to be between two characters?
Nope! Just so nobody (especially none of us playing boring old human characters) gets left out, this is essentially a free-for-all power swap. If twelve people want quirks, twelve people can have quirks! If you want your character to gain the powers of character B, that character is not obligated to gain your character's powers. Just reach into the Big Bag of Stolen Powers and pick whatever you'd like.
Will our characters have immediate perfect control of their new powers?
That is entirely up to you. If you want to play out the funny shenanigans of someone getting used to the fact that they cast fireball, and oh crap, they definitely didn't mean to cast it at that, then go for it. On the other hand, if you'd rather go with all the fun that can come from a character that fully understands their new powers, you can do that to. The aim of the game is fun, however that might look for you!
Can the characters people are bringing in from outside the game have powers too?
Sure. Honestly, people are free to bring any sort of characters to the Fourth Wall, even ones that would not be allowed to be actually apped to VR. So if people want to give them powers, really, they can do whatever they want!
------
That covers all the questions we could anticipate beforehand, though we are sure people might still have others. So, feel free to ask them below. And please, if your character is the sort to have any kind of powers or inhuman features, if you could list them, that would very much be appreciated.

Minfilia Warde | Final Fantasy XIV
Let's talk about Minfilias' powers.
Wiki link for more on the Echo.
The Echo gives you the power to transcend your body. It gives you the ability to speak and understand all languages. During fourth walls, this includes Pokemon. It also provides you the ability to view the memories of others. This can be from any time. And sometimes, in visions, you can even move around and do things in them!
also it protects you from dying, your body might perish but the soul is stronger, but i hope nobody needs that?
Meanwhile, there's also the Blessing of Light. This prevents your soul from getting corrupted. Hydaelyn could also interfere, but She doesn't have that power at this canon point.
alas minfilias canon update won't be until after fourth wall, she doesnt have full godly powers yet

Why not be a Goblin this Fourth Wall?
If you take advantage of this opportunity, you'll receive
- Sharp teeth and claws.
- Eyes that do the cute cat thing and see in the dark.
- A digestive system that can handle anything.
- Tail. It doesn't do anything, but it is cute.
- Shortness (between three and four feet) so your awesome is now more concentrated than ever.
- Fury of the small
Don't miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a creechure. Just a lil' guy.

Now you can as Harry here, despite being a human and an emotionally battered young man, is capable of performing magic back in his world.
If you choose to do it this month, you’ll get these wonderful abilities that are listed in here (it is a very long list as you can imagine). Harry does apologize if they might give your character a wild time.
Or maybe you’re more of a lover of plants instead? Then Isabela’s plant growing magic is up for grabs too. Her gift allows her to grow plants at will, and while it was originally restricted to flowers and vines due to social expectations, it has since increased to include nearly all kinds of plant life like cacti, sundews, trees, and succulents. So enjoy the magical green thumb if you choose to go with that route.

Aesthetic!!! Appearance wise, you now have any and all of the following: pointy elf-like ears (complete with a slight improvement in hearing), hair in a literal rainbow of colors, jewel-tone eyes with lavender pupils, and little pointy marks on your cheekbones in any color you wish. You are fabulous now. Own it!
Super strength: You are now very strong. Like… imagine if Rihanna was able to judo flip LeBron James clad in medium armor into a metal floor so hard that he bounced and blacked out… as a non-specific example. That is how strong you are. And it scales when combined with the next ability.
Minor shapeshifting: Alteans can make moderate changes to their physical appearance, traditionally used for diplomacy. Allura’s version of this abilities include height (up to about seven feet tall, lower limit unexplored) and skin color- as shown here- but does not include other features like eye color or voice. Combined with the super strength above, you can now body-check people hard enough to leave dents in metal walls, or throw grown men like footballs. Be careful with clothes while using this ability; Allura’s jumpsuit remains intact during this, but I headcanon that Alteans designed special clothing to shift with their bodies to prevent wardrobe malfunctions.
Energy manipulation: This is the most inconsistently explained of Allura’s powers, and at her current canon point she doesn’t have much control over it, but basically you’re able to transfer your quintessence (life force, aura, mana, etc.) into other beings and things, as well as sense limited information about others. (Ask for permission, of course.) For the purposes of the Fourth Wall, it’ll likely be on the level of giving a Pokemon a regular or Super Potion’s worth of healing. Be careful, though, since Allura especially tends to pour out too much energy and wear herself out.
Immunity to brain freeze: Enjoy all the ice cream your stomach can handle.
Naeva Dos Martos | Original Character
Naeva dos Martos
--Nightkin: Have you ever wanted to be a shapeshifter who can turn into a specific animal? Usually a mammal but the sky is the limit! Be a tiny bird! Be a deer! Be a horrific hybrid monster form between a capybara and humanoid!
--Animal Senses: You have an animal form! You get the sense of smell and hearing and proprioception of that animal! ...Also the vision. Sorry about that.
--Beast Command: Hey, you're the queen of the black forest now! Or at least kind of. Now you have sovereignty over beasts of all kinds! Whether or not pokemon recognize Naeva's divine authority is another matter but you can at least talk to them and ask nicely.
--Blood Magic: Hey do you want control over the fundamental life energy? Now you can have it! It's blood for 90% of living creatures! Don't worry about it!
--Undead Hunger For Life: Don't worry about that it's fine! You just need the life energy of other creatures to survive!
--Sharp Pointy Teeth: :D

Now, you may be wondering: "Naem, what's a Stand?" And to that I say "Oh Jesus how do I explain this." But I'll give it a try.
A Stand is a physical manifestation of someone's fighting spirit. You know Personas? Stands are kind of like that, and in fact predate them. Stands can look like just about anything; some are very humanoid, some are just a little guy (or a colony of them), some look like objects...
Likewise, they can have just about any kind of ability you could think of. Some, especially early on, have simple powers like "punching" or "making fire"; over the years, they've had a tendency to become increasingly specific or esoteric. For instance, there's a stand in Part 6 that allows the user to excavate vivid representations of memories from the earth; one stand from Part 8 essentially turns the entire environment against anybody who pursues its user, making misfortune rain down upon them. I could be here all day.
All you need to make a stand is an appearance, a power, and preferably some sort of music reference to name it after. This page on the Jojo Wiki contains more in-depth explanations than you'll ever need and provides easy access to many, many examples of stands in all of JJBA! If you're curious, this is my guys' stand. It erases time! Now, you may be wondering: "Naem, what the hell does that mean?" And to that I say--
Look. I could be here all day.
If you'd like to take King Crimson, specifically, for a spin, do give me a heads-up! Diavolo won't be happy to see it in somebody else's hands, though chances are he won't be able to do much about it.
In addition, another "power" you could end up with involves, uh, your appearance changing drastically depending on who's piloting your body, because for some reason Jojo DID does that?? But that's so... highly specific I can't imagine anybody would get any use out of it, pff. Just thought it merited mentioning since the bulk of the physical changes is usually a fourth wall exclusive for these guys.

Info on Stands in general is here, but the general idea is that they're manifestations of a person's fighting spirit that can be summoned and desummoned at will and they have a variety of abilities that vary widely, usually reflecting the user's personality in some way. Most Stands, except the Part 3 Stands, are named after various Western music references.
Naem gave a much better explanation of Stands up above, so I won't go into all the details again, but there's a very basic explanation.
Narancia's Stand, Aerosmith, takes the form of an RC airplane. It has several abilities, some common to all Stands and some unique to it.
Abilities common to all Stands:
-Only visible to other Stand users. Non Stand users cannot see Stands. However, it is possible to assume Aerosmith becomes visible to everyone for the fourth wall since interacting with something most people can't see is really hard.
-Only Stands can damage another Stand.
-Damage to a Stand translates to an equivalent injury to the user. Don't let that plane get damaged!
Abilities unique to Aerosmith:
-A pair of guns held under the wings. These guns can fire seemingly infinite bullets and aren't particularly accurate, but make up for it by sheer volume of bullets.
-A single, tiny bomb held under the main fuselage of the plane. This bomb can be dropped on demand and explodes like a regular, if small, bomb.
-A carbon dioxide tracking radar. Aerosmith grants its user access to a radar that tracks Co2 sources as pings on the radar. Narancia uses it to track people by their breathing, but it detects anything that produces carbon dioxide. However, pings on the radar aren't labeled, so it's up to the user to interpret it and figure out what each ping represents.
Here's a video showing Aerosmith in action in the anime!
godslaying (+possession), halfbreeds, lightning magic, and more!
Sion
Magic: Let's start with the easy one. Sion's world has magic, and Sion is capable of using it! The way it works is, there's tiny motes of... something floating around the world. Normally these are invisible to humans, but someone who's undergone the right mental training can see them. And then manipulate them. Through a combination of physically interacting with and rearranging the motes into a pattern (usually with a hand/finger) and speaking an appropriate incantation, a spell can be cast! (To a non-magical observer this looks like you're creating a glowing diagram with your finger in midair, fun!) Spells include things like fire, a blast of water, temporarily deadening sound in an area, etc. Sion only knows Roland's spells, though in theory it'd be possible for him to learn others given the opportunity and sufficient time.
If you choose this option, feel free to ask me for info on incantations or such if you want! Or just have your character be puzzled by the floating glowing motes they now see everywhere, whatever works.
The Mad Hero: Now for the tricky one. This is a partial possession by/fusion with one of the gods of Sion's world, namely Aslude Roland aka the Mad/Fallen/Black Hero. It's basically a big package deal with multiple abilities and effects as follows!
Anti-existence black swords
These are literally the ability to slay gods, but the swords made of darkness can be summoned at will and used against pretty much anything. Things destroyed by the swords are effectively erased from existence and thus wiped from human memory, though your mileage may vary on that here in pokemon land. Note too that using this power comes with a price: every time you do, you'll become slightly less human and more, well, demigod-ish. Which will be elaborated on below.
Perception of the spiritual plane
... Look, you're basically now empowered by a god, of course you can perceive the dimension/plane/whatever you wanna call it that such beings normally exist on. That said there's two noteworthy drawbacks: first, that if you're not used to seeing/being in two places at once, it's hard to actually focus on more than one at a time. Second, and more importantly, while this lets you interact with other spiritual beings
so you can kill them with your swords of darknessthat also means that said other beings can now interact with and harm YOU, should they be so inclined. Think of it like humans being Normal types and gods being Ghost types so they're normally mutually immune; in exchange for being able to hit ghosts you now lose your normal immunity to them.Becoming a demigod/endless agony
This is a twofer. Since you're fused with a god and are (presumably) slowly assimilating his powers, you're not longer fully human yourself! Plus, you can accelerate this process by doing things like actively tapping into this power a lot. Push this process far enough along and you'll get nifty(?) side effects like glowing gold magical god blood! However, at ALL stages this comes with it incredible, unending agony. It feels like literally every individual cell in your body is somehow, impossibly, in pain. Nothing stops or dulls it, and it persists even if you're unconscious. The only way to block it is to block all the Mad Hero's power from you, rendering you normal human again.
Possession
Of course, the thing with trying to absorb a mad god's power? Said mad god tends to come with it. So enjoy having that presence in your head, constantly trying to take over and subsume your consciousness into his own. The Mad Hero basically wants to first break free of his prison (which... this place is NOT said prison, so that's a little moot right now) and second go finish killing all the gods. Humans are largely beneath his notice beyond how he can possibly use/get power out of them. The only being he MIGHT possibly care about (and that mostly from being reincarnated as a human countless times slowly changing him) is the Lonesome Demon, but since only half of the Demon is here there's not much he can do about that either. So really have fun with a very frustrated mad god wanting to rampage without anything to rampage at I guess.
Shrike
Fayblood: Shrike was sired by a fay, which means he's a human with a few... extra things tacked on. In his case this means he has somewhat funny-shaped ears, his finger- and toenails are narrower and thicker than a normal humans (think halfway toward being claws), and his whole body is covered with markings that vaguely resemble an animal's spotted coat. He's also unnaturally strong, capable of things like hauling a full-grown man wearing armor out of a flooding river, has a slight innate ability to kind of just sense magic, and technically has access to basic standard fay abilities (like casting a glamour, a degree of self-shaping magic, etc) that he avoids using like the plague but are still there.
Magecraft: Want a talent for magic? Well here you go! Shrike has both the right kind of mind for it and the natural aptitude for channeling the magical power needed to, y'know, make spells work. Magecraft in his world ranges from rituals to enchantments to spoken spells, so if you can figure out the way to do it, well, there you have it. Shrike himself only has a very limited knowledge of spells so far, however, so he's not gonna be much help there, you'll have to figure it out yourself. :)
Geddoe
Lightning Rune: Basic, run of the mill lightning magic. With this rune affixed to your hand (or forehead, if you're really extra) you can cast a few spells that consist of variations of zapping your enemies with lightning. It's better for pinpoint attacks than aoe. The more powerful the spell, the harder it will be to cast repeatedly without resting, though!
True Lightning Rune: Like above, except this is pretty much straight up an elemental god of lightning hanging out in your right hand. It's pretty powerful, but it also has a will of its own: get careless, or be in a state where you're too exhausted/injured/whatever to resist, and the rune might just go berserk, blasting anything and everything nearby. Other things the rune might do include showing you visions of memories of previous bearers and/or possible futures to you, usually as dreams.
Swordsmanship: It might not be flashy as a magic lightning god, but Geddoe is good at what he does. Want to have some random sword skills of the learned via experience rather than fancy training variety? Look no further!

So You Wanna Be A Drow
For the sake of my sanity we're mostly going by current (fifth edition) Dungeons and Dragons rules, because the actual capabilities of drow have been retconned multiple times over the course of the series as game rules changed.
Drow elves typically have the following physical traits:
Drow elves typically have the following metaphysical traits:

(Anonymous) 2023-05-05 07:21 am (UTC)(link)Sounds good, but what's the catch?
-Weakness to sunlight: catch a sunrise and it's all over, I dunno if death is real in this game, but do you really want to risk it?
-Being set on fire is also an issue, and there is a non-zero chance that you will fly into a blind panic (https://whitewolf.fandom.com/wiki/R%C3%B6tschreck) when exposed to sunlight or large/uncontrolled fires.
-The need to drink human blood in order to live, lest you go apeshit (https://whitewolf.fandom.com/wiki/Frenzy_(VTM))
-You *will* look dead unless you rouse the blood to do a mimicry of basic vital signs, which makes you just a little bit hungrier for blood.
-Food tastes like ash in your mouth.
In addition to these basic abilities and weaknesses, there are also a number of special powers known as Disciplines. (https://whitewolf.fandom.com/wiki/Discipline_(VTM)) The wiki article is a good place to start, and the following disciplines are not clan-limited, nor would they require a teacher in-universe: Animalism, Auspex, Celerity, Dominate, Fortitude, Obfuscate, Potence, Presence, Protean
Let's also go over the ones Laszlo knows in more detail.
Vicissitude: This is Laszlo's signature ability as a member of clan Tzimisce (https://whitewolf.fandom.com/wiki/Tzimisce), and HO BOY is it a wild ride. Can be used both on yourself and others, either as a quick means of DIY plastic surgery, or creating Cronenbergian body horror monstrosities. Requires direct skin to skin contact to work, and you'll probably need a decent understanding of anatomy to figure out how to shape things in a way that doesn't end in a bloody mess. The limitations to this vary based on the user's imagination, anatomical/medical knowledge, and the recipient's pain threshold.
Auspex: Heighten your senses to inhuman levels, read people's auras, sense other people's senses, and detect supernatural fucky-wuckyness.
Animalism: Sense the primal instincts of people and Pokemon, talk to Pokemon via Pokemon-speak, and force Pokemon into their primal instincts where they just attack everyone.
Dominate: Give random shmucks simple commands (anything that isn't telling them to do something directly harmful to themselves) or make them forget the last 5 minutes.
And then while they do know blood sorcery/koldunic sorcery it's a whole can of worms so I'm. Just not gonna put it up for offer, lmao.

Still, the offer stands.
Grant Abaroa | OC | werewolves!!
Details on how being a werewolf works in Grant's world:
- Enhanced senses: Werewolves have stronger senses of smell and hearing than most humans, including smelling things like the slight shifts in scent that come with strong emotion, and smelling magical residue! Some can pick out/identify individual scents or sounds more accurately, as well - though it's partly a matter of practice, and partly one of luck. In any case, the downside of this is that particularly noisy or strong-smelling locations can get overstimulating easily.
- Strength and constitution: What it sounds like! Werewolves tend to be physically stronger and hardier than other humans.
- Emotional control/impulsivity: Lycanthropy kinda Does Things to your brain. While the type of werewolf Grant is aren't necessarily more aggressive than a regular human, they tend to feel their emotions very strongly/viscerally, and sometimes struggle with focus and impulse control. They don't have no control over themselves or anything like that, it can just be kind of tough to keep their kneejerk reactions at bay unless they've specifically worked on that a lot (so, for example, a character who's already put a lot of work into emotional control may have a harder time with it while werewolf'd, but would still have that advantage over someone who isn't used to thinking about those things consciously).
- Animal features: Even at their most humanoid, many werewolves display some number of physical signs of their condition. Slightly pointed ears, more/thicker body hair, and larger, more prominent eyeteeth are most common, but other features like subtly thicker "padded" areas on the hands and feet, vestigial tails, and so forth come up now and then, as well. Related, werewolves also have a somewhat higher rate of intolerance or allergies for foods that are toxic to dogs or other carnivores, such as caffeine.
- Silver sensitivity: Silver is caustic to werewolves! Lower-content silver alloys may just cause some discomfort, but contact with pure silver causes an immediate burning sensation, and can do some serious damage to soft tissues if contact isn't broken quickly.
- Full moon transformation: HILARIOUSLY, THIS IS RELEVANT FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER IN VR. The night of the 19th is (was) a full moon! After sunset on full moons - even if they're out of reach of the moonlight itself - werewolves will change shape involuntarily, taking on a typically larger, more animalistic form. These forms can resemble domestic dogs, wild canids, or even other types of carnivore with a superficial resemblance to canids (for example, hyenas). They generally still have thumbs, and can stand on either two or four legs (though four tends to be more comfortable). Mentally speaking, they'll still be basically themselves during this time, though the difficulties with focus and emotional/impulse control get a lot stronger, and the changes to their vocal chords make regular speech impossible.
